The biggest scandal? I would say "the biggest disappointment of 2012". We know that Koreans loved IU because of her innocent image, and after that twitter issue they were shocked... I feel bad for her because of all the hate she recieve, but still... how can anyone upload a photo by accident? I don't get it :p

It's a company that produces idols and already had a few idol groups under its agency (X-5, DGNA). For a while after the case started gaining attention, those same idol groups were suspected of being involved. Even if OWE is irrelevant, the acts are despicable enough to warrant attention.

Not to create conspiracies but maybe there was a conflict between IU and her management and they decided to release the picture to show just how much power they have over her. Maybe it was an IU anti or an overly-obsessed fan that got hold of her personal passwords. You may think nahhhh that's not probable. But similar things have happened in the past haven't they? Who do you think released Jiyeon's picture? It's actually rumoured to be CCM bc she was 'getting out of control'. It is rumoured CCM keeps naked pictures of ALL their trainees as kind of a double guarantee. As for antis and saseengs, we all know how over the top they can get and how ~informed~ they can be. I'm just saying that you should never just look at the surface when it comes to kpop. It's actually a very shady business.

But IU admitted to posting the picture. if it were an antifan or someone hacking her account the company would have said "IU's twitter was hacked," they wouldn't let IU take the blame for it. Every other idol that has been hacked they have stated clearly that they were in fact hacked. So either IU made a mistake, or her company did release it, but it wasn't an anti or a hack.

ReplyDeleteCompany is creating a scandal just to punish their one of the biggest artist? Well it's possible, but I'm pretty sure LOEN isn't that stupid. IU was their breadwinner (correct me if I'm wrong, I don't follow LOEN artists ^^ ), it's not only her who suffer the consequences. Jiyeon case was a little bit different, if I'm not mistaken the whole issue was one year after T-ara debut, so they were still new in the industry.
