I wish all SM singers would take a break from pushing themselves into actor roles for at least a year...get trained by the 'real' actors in SM C&C and then come back =____=
ReplyDeleteI think some have potential though. Changmin recently got nominated for a Japanese Academy Award, but he wasn't that good in his Korean drama. It's got a lot to do with scripts and directors, imo.

I just think it´s a good thing that they´re not delusional and dont try to justify his acting. But I wish they´d hold back a little because I´m sure he´s trying his best and prove them that with hard work you can accomplish everything.
ReplyDeleteBut he's been in 3 dramas and 2 musicals and he still hasn't shown any improvement. You would think he'd get some hardcore coaching after HTTG if he was serious about continuing an acting career, but his later roles--even if they were short--did not show any growth in skills.

That was a huge mistake, a flop sm drama that came during a hard time, he was pretty terrible in it indeed, but that was more than 2 years ago. Poseidon? Another SM drama... And he just did a cameo, he was pretty decent in it compared to HTTG. His musicals? How did you get to see his acting in it? Now i'm interested...
That's why people on here are just sitting and wondering what's up with people like you. Y'all can't even wait to see the first episodes of this drama before judging him and "his growth in skills".

Indeed, I also see alot of YH's fans bringing his experience in musicals as something good that probably helped him improve his drama acting in other NB's entries. But saddly it's not true.

ReplyDeletehis group only has 2 people, and changmin is better than 96% of the idols out there, there is no shame being less great than changmin, yunho can still sing amazingly for 3 hours straight during their japanese concerts while dancing like crazy, not many idols can do that. but of course you wouldn't know that since you actually never watch their performances or listen to their albums.

ReplyDeleteIf the drama fails, it's not on his shoulders since he's not even the lead. I haven't been impressed with his acting but this immediate dismissal is unnecessary, especially since he hasn't been given a role which allows him to grow his acting. That said, I'm afraid to hope for this drama giving him a two-dimensional role, but I hope he does well despite.

What does Poseidon being an SM drama have to do with the fact that Yunho acted like a wooden board in it. You can be a good actor in a crappy drama, it's possible.
ReplyDeleteIf you look at HTTG and Poseidon, there was no improvement at all even though his role in Poseidon was a lot easier as it didn't really involve any deep emoting.
Also, he was awkward again in his cameo in Living Cheongdamdong in even though he was basically just playing himself and it really didn't require much skills at all.
And let's not even mention the mini-movie Haru in which he barely had any lines but was still panned by critics and showed, once again, awkward as fuck acting.
Defend him all you want, but when he's given opportunities again and again, opportunities that most trained and professional actors can't even get, and he doesn't even try to improve then you shouldn't be surprised when people are upset at him.

it's mostly from yoochun fans, they spam I Miss You board asking yoo seung ho's parts to be reduced because it doesn't fit with the story since he is too young which is absurd.... some people said they are just jealous because people keeps talking about yoo seung ho, well he is famous young actor in korea obviously people there gonna talk about him more than other actor

ReplyDeleteyoochun agency is severe on viewer bashful comments or hate commene.they are taking action against them.jyj has also a lot of anti fans but that is being checked or they face the warth....but among jyj yoochun is a the top,,...,in terms of acting....even though fans request yo seung ho part to be reduced but still it is not so easy as you seung ho is a rising and becoming more popular these days......

DeleteYoochun has been in 75-80% of the scenes. His current schedule is insane--he's getting 1-3 hours of sleep a day and has lost a lot of weight since shooting began. If anything else, his fans would rather ask the pd and writer to reduce his screen time so the man can get some rest or he might end in the hospital for exhaustion soon.
