If you've been following Netizen Buzz from early on, you're probably familiar with Newsen/CCM's hate campaign against KARA (check the Newsen tag if you aren't). They've been quiet for a while but they're back again.
Earlier in the morning, Newsen originally released an article titled "A look into the restaurant of KARA Nicole's mother... 'The food is not worth getting angry about'" and basically talked about all of the problems with the restaurants and complaints that customers had.
Netizens complained enough about it, calling Newsen out for their hate campaign against KARA, so Newsen overhauled the entire article content and title to say, "From after school academies to cafes, a look into the businesses run by idol parents'" The content is just general information about idol parent run businesses, which can be read at allkpop.

Seriously, what crime did KARA commit to Newsen? Or are they just pissed now and hating on whatever they can get because Kwang Soo's not giving them cash anymore?

Kwang Soo did said something about making idols life who left company a living hell. So makes sense he goes for KARA. 1. they brought up the lawsuit with DSP. 2. they are females. 3. JYJ will sue.

ReplyDeleteKKS didn't have anything to do with Tears of Heaven casting since it was a large scale production and not some CCM produced thing. KKS would have had no leverage over if Junsu was cast or not since any musical production would pick Junsu over Haeri if they were forced to make a choice.
ReplyDeleteAlso, he gave an interview saying he hoped KARA would be blacklist from the entertainment industry as 'punishment' for daring to go against their company. You can look it up. He was really vicious towards them.
Remember when Kim Kwangsoo publicly said he wanted KARA's Seungyeon, Jiyoung, and Nicole to be banned from the industry permanently when the three planned to sue DSP? This was before T-ara scandal, so it's less about diverting the bad press from T-ara. This CCM guy hates KARA so much omg

When KARA was going through troubles with their company (DSP) because of contract issues, Kim Kwang Soo said in an interview: I asked the Korean Entertainment Producers Association (KEPA) to take heavy measures against Kara. I believe that if the three members left the group to join another management company, then they should not be allowed to come back to music industry in the future. All 300 members of the association must stop the three members from breaking Kara up.
ReplyDeleteHe said a bunch of other things that were really nasty about KARA, although I have NO idea why he's being such a fucking asshole since CCM and DSP are completely unrelated... The Korean Media were trying to make the whole controversy as if everyone in the entertainment industry was against KARA when it wasn't even the case. KKS was just putting his two cents in where it wasn't wanted, as if his opinion actually mattered. But... well... karma. :)
