I'm honestly starting to feel really bad for them. How long can KKS keep letting them promote or do anything in the public eye with all of the hate before one of them snaps?
ReplyDelete4. [+119, -7] Looks like someone threw her a pack of cigarettes
ReplyDeleteLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
[+941, -36] Definitely the Machine
ReplyDeletesorry but LOL
I have cigarettes too, Hyomin :)
ReplyDeleteits just comments from an online site, who cares. im sure they could care less about what some netizens are saying about them
ReplyDeleteI agree he should let T-ara go on hiatus till it all dies down and people forget.
ReplyDeletehyomin would u accept a cigar instead? i got a big black one rearing to go!
ReplyDeletefuck cigarettes i got a big black cigar for u right here hyomin!
ReplyDeleteOf course it's easy for any of us to say that they're just comments since we're not in their positions and we definitely don't know what's going through their minds. But one can only imagine the psychological effect it'll have on them--either now or later.
ReplyDeleteTotally. And quite a few Korean celebrities do commit suicide because of netizens.
DeleteWORD. Netizens' harsh comment is even worse than getting some face to face scolding
DeleteYou can write anything online while hidding behind those electronic gadgets hence people aren't afraid of the consequence of being recognized.
I still remember Tablo's commentary file when he dropped his solo album this year. He mentioned how terrifying it is to have all the back stabbing. He was so worried when he sent his daughter for a check up at a hospital.(he was newly wed and his wife delivered a baby girl during the 2nd year of the incident I guess)
He said he feels so sad that he couldn't ven trust the doctor in the hospital, cause anyone of them could be the 'anonymous hater' on the Internet; and they could be 'Tanjinyo gang who harrass his family and made his brother lost his job and all sorts..
No matter how long they go away for those netizens who feel so high & mighty will say their "Reflection period" was too short.I think T-ara should focus on us fans who loves them and don't mind the antis! U can't let antis control your whole life and career
ReplyDeleteTrust me T-ara couldn't give one solitary flying fuck. They probably care just as much as Justin Bieber cares about the comments people leave on his YouTube videos. I'm sure they're crying while rolling in all that money - NOT.
ReplyDeleteHyomin hwaiting!
ReplyDelete3. [+435, -13] Hyomin "My true worth can be seen on top of the bed"
ReplyDeleteLOL!!! Same with her friend Jiyeon, her true worth can only be seen while she is stripping
Its not really about anti's its more about how public opinion of them is not great right now. They caused a huge ruckus which may or may not be true but regardless it is something that they started. So they have to show some form of regret to the public. And since well females cant go to the army a reflection period would be the right choice. And many celebs has had even bigger scandals but they stayed from the public eye for a year or two and came back and well although some people bring it up most people have forgotten.
ReplyDeleteAs for how long the reflection period should be obviously it has to be at LEAST a year or more. Like the longest period from an idol was daesung that was only around 9 months. And GD was what 4 months. Thats pretty short compared to other celebs who also had marijuana scandals they went away for 1-2 years. Khun went for 4 months. For a true reflection period you have to go over a year. And this coming from what other celebs did in the past. Like Ivy went away from the public eye for 3 years after her scandal. She didnt dodge all the hate but most people did forget. So its better to stop shoving them in people faces when they had a such a huge scandal its like pouring salts on fresh wounds. Instead take them away and let the public forget. And than slowly bring them back.
What money? They lost all their endorsement deals save for one and that one's owned by CCM, their sales have taken a huge hit (went from being digital monsters and making $400K off a song in the first month to just a little over half of that with "Sexy Love" in the same time frame), and they're pretty much barred from all variety shows until who knows how long.
ReplyDeleteThe most they can do is have concerts and put out photo books right now. They're on borrowed time and only CCM's indomitable stubbornness is keeping them alive right now.
lol like kks is paying them fairly...
ReplyDeleteYet KKS attacks KARA for their outfits
ReplyDeleteT-ara can spend all their time in Japan then
ReplyDeleteEven T-ara with most of their income streams gone is still a hell of a lot more money than most groups. They've got the one stream that matters - an entrenched Japanese audience. Given population disparity and exchange rates, they could subsist on that indefinitely.
ReplyDeleteThat won't happen no matter how much netizens wish it. Anyone keeping ANY girl group out of the public eye for a year or more for ANY reason would have to be a first class fuckin' idiot. Time is money in the music business especially when dealing with an already-established group with a big worldwide fanbase that's already been around for a few years and isn't getting any younger, you don't just shelve something like that because some netizens are having a little cry. The public will never forget the scandal, look at how netizens always bring up shit from years ago with other groups. CCM have correctly figured out that they might as well just go for it. The fans will love them even more for it, and the haters will hate them anyway. Everybody wins.
ReplyDeleteWhy do you think they're there right now. "Koreans hate us? That's nice. Japan has twice the population and the currency is worth twice as much, nice knowing you."
ReplyDeletei think she is wearing a push up bra cause she is flat chested
ReplyDeleteWhen I look for intelligent, insightful comments that reflect sincere and deep thought I always come to the NB comments section, lol
ReplyDeletebest reply till now...
ReplyDeleteI disagree compared to other celebs who have went through even bigger scandals from the past and still managed to comeback successfully even after a couple of years is commendable. And its like T-ara has to go to the army bc their getting older. Ex After School member Ga hee was 31 when she quit being girl group member. So age has no effect. And since tara was never really known to be a cute girl group they could always looks for different concepts. Baek Ji Young left the industry for 2.5 years after her scandal and look where she is now. If T-ara went away for lets say a year maybe a bit more. Although to some they would be known as the bully group but they would also be known as girl group who took responsibility for their actions and reflected on them and now is ready to comeback. And they were number 2 girl group back than almost number 1 before they screwed CCM could use that as their advantage and well now they had a mediocre comeback sexy love and since than dropped from that position. Idk what made CCM think that a comeback after a MASSIVE controversy was going to be sucessful.
ReplyDeleteThe problem is the contract of 3 of the members is ending soon(like the start of the next year). I think KKS was not confident of keeping them. However, after seeing how Davichi 'decided to stay with CCM after consulting KKS,' I seriously doubt they can leave.
ReplyDeleteThen they might as well debut as a Japanese girl group because things are looking quite bleak for them in their home industry.
ReplyDeleteLOL dumb fangirl.
ReplyDeletedo you think Hyomin is the only one with antis ??
what about Hyuna, Jiyeon and many other idols? Even Yunho and Yoochun used to have antis. don't overreact!
lol For the record, I'm not a Queen. But unlike a lot of humans, I do empathize with them. Empathizing with T-ara does not imply that no one else gets hate. Hell, I'm a Block B fan so I know VERY well that other groups have antis. But you have to admit that most idols aren't getting half the hate that T-ara is receiving from the public right now. All of these idols are humans too. I don't think it's an indication of overreaction if I suspect that this hate will have adverse effects on their health either now or in the future.
