E-Sens to make first public appearance since marijuana scandal

Article: 'Marijuana Use' E-Sens to make first public appearance since one year of reflection hiatus

Source:
Mydaily via Nate

1. [+900, -152] E-Sens confessed to it and quietly reflected to pay the price while G-Dragon got caught for it and remains confidently running around promoting ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ Something's definitely wrong here

2. [+806, -163] I feel like he's reflected for a very long time. Very quietly, without a fuss.. I'm all for E-Sens coming back after this. The summer concert felt empty without him.. and I hope he doesn't lay a hand on marijuana again in the future

3. [+763, -145] Unlike someone else, he reflected quietly on his own

  1. I don't like this "reflecting" thing in the Korean culture.. :l

  2. Aw, I missed him. I'm more of a Simon D fan, but Supreme Team can't exist without E-sens.

They're a very talented duo and I wish them all the best ^^.

  3. i'm glad esens is not afraid to come back. we'll see if you netizens actually support him when he releases his music. netizens are just looking for a reason to make themselves feel better when they hate on gd.

  4. I wonder if Simon D was okay without him ):

And the demand for GD is too high for him to just stay away and reflect. That's what these netizens don't understand.

  5. Oh, I'm so happy this was posted, I was genuinely curious if there was a difference in the sentiments of netizens between G-Dragon and E-Sens' marijuana usage...turns out, it's the complete opposite x'D

  6. this is a bit ridiculous considering E-sens has admitted to being a long time smoker of the drug while g-dragon was caught with a small amount in his system.

  7. doubt it, they are B.S. they will bring it back at him if he shows any signs of success.

  8. well i think koreans r mada cause GD still promoting and he never "reflected" i think they kinda have a point

  9. Yeah because "reflection" means everything ahem cough splutter. Seriously, artists who "take time out to reflect" just do side projects and work on new material. "Reflection" is the biggest scam going in k-pop and netizens fall for it hook, line and sinker.

  10. lol i agree with k-netizens

  11. Tall-poppy syndrome. Netizens have it big-time.

  12. True. The average netizen will never understand the basic realities of the music industry. Culturally it's a different world. That's why artists in controversy rarely behave as netizens ever expect or want. Suzy nailed it when she tweeted the picture of that sheep.

  13. I definitely agree, with the second comment especially. Maybe now people will stop crying about reflection never working. This instance, among many others, has shown that it pays off (and this applies even if you're not a celebrity).

  14. Was never too fond of how this was handled. E-Sens admitted it. I wonder how much would have been found in his system if he had gotten caught eventually instead of fessing up. Sure a small amount was found in GD's system, but that's not to say that he's never done it before; he just never admitted it and YG covered for him with a ridiculous story. They're different because of E-Sens' honesty, not really because of the results.

  15. ^ This!
In other words, GD is a liar and a coward and hid behind the power of his company and the backing of his fans. Smh.
I hope Supreme Team and E-Sens do really well. That track with Primary and Esens is eargasmic.

  16. E-Sens literally did no promotions, and released no new material for an entire year.

  17. Because the amount found in his system was too miniscule to actually charge and convict him. PLEASE understand this law.

The amount of marijuana found in his system would be like saying he breathed in marijuana smoke (not saying that this is what happened) instead of actually smoking it.

    1. Yep, I could have that small amount in my system too if any police could catch me after the night walk at Red District in Amsterdam.

Ignorant people would Love to believe that GD was a regular smoker, let you wish.

And Esens was confessed after the police caught him under investigation.

Thats why we never see GD " confess " becuase he was free of charge in the first place.

Check out old articles on Esens at Allkpop and you know.

Learn to accept the REALITY, will ya?

Live in illusion hatred world much?

  18. Like I said, the demand for GD is too high. He can't just leave for a year like *snap* THAT.

  19. Hey, i don't care to smoke MJ , cigarettes or even drink, and I don't care if others do. but why do people lump and make MJ such a big deal? It's legal in Colorado actually and other countries. You hear about lots of death and drunk driving related to alcohol and lots of death related to cigarettes, so what about MJ? Name statistics comparing deaths of it higher than alcohol and maybe i might care. Heck, I don't even know who this guy is.. I just think some people make a big deal over nothing.

  20. I think this is a very good point.

  21. During which time he was no doubt in the studio working his ass off.

    ReplyDelete
  22. No. They're different because of the law. There was a lot of evidence in E-sens case. He had to admit it or face a huge embarrassing public trial. There was insufficient evidence to convict in GD's case. Totally different. I get that not everyone is a lawyer, but this has been said a thousand times. People just don't want to believe it.
