GD is better than PSY in terms of music quality imo. And I don't stan either of them.

Even I am a GD fan, I must admit that most of us GD stans were unexpected his win. It should be PSY. But who know, over those criteria counted, GD might do come up little better in results : physical sale , critics . judges and all. So we would just be glad then He did win.

ReplyDeleteYes, people don't realize that GD's solo was actually critically acclaimed which is why he probably beat Psy for this particular award. Not to worry, though, Psy received plenty of awards at MAMA this year and his fame exceeds everyone else's in kpop right now. It was so nice how he acknowledged that his hoobaes had increased awareness of kpop before he exploded into fame. He's really a very humble person. I wish him all the best.

I know he's been killing the online charts but if his physical sales are lower than GDs, I don't see why it's so shocking that GD got Male solo Artist of the Year... Psy got the Song of the Year which makes sense but that doesn't mean he's automatically guaranteed to win Male Solo Artist award.
