2PM's Nichkhun leaves for Tanzania

Article: [SSStarFinder] Nichkhun, who's currently reflecting after his DUI, spotted leaving for Tanzania volunteer work

Source: Sports Seoul via Nate

1. [+317, -72] At least he does volunteer work. What did GD do? All he did was demand $40 per album from his druggie fans and make shameless songs. Is that volunteer work to him? Such a comfortable reflection period for him, amirite?

2. [+276, -56] Film the show safely and never drunk drive again.

3. [+200, -48] I heard that he did a lot of volunteer work in Korea.. KOICA is not anything easy to decide to take part in. He's suffering the consequences of hardship since he did wrong! So I hope he records and turns back healthily~

4. [+96, -63] Because of GD, the mindset's changed to people thinking that two months of reflection is long enough to return to TV... such a problem.

5. [+62, -21] Better than Jaejoongㅋㅋㅋ

Article: Nichkhun to return to TV through 'KOICA's Dream' following Lee Hyuk Jae... KOICA is the official show for scandalous celebrities?

Source: E-News

1. [+185, -38] This is why celebrities don't reflect. You receive the same amount of hate and criticism whether you do it or not. You have to reflect for a minimum of a few years to avoid the hate but you run the risk of being forgotten in that time. That's why they're just like, "Whatever, I'd rather not do it", and crawl back on TV.

2. [+149, -38] It's good that he's volunteering as a part of his reflection but was it absolutely necessary to show that on TV.. Well, he might as well do well since he's decided to.

3. [+134, -30] In my opinion, Nichkhun is reflecting and it's good to see him do volunteer work, but I think it's too early for him to return to the industry.

  2. I agree with some of these opinions...if you have a scandal it comes back and bites you in the ass regardless if you took time to reflect or not...netizens will hate on GD forever, not because he didn't disappear for a couple of months, but because they are bothered by his general attitude. I'm kinda glad he didn't profusely apologize. Hate on, netizens, Nichkhun fighting!

  3. netizens just wants a bite at the top comments and to do that, include a gd jab. khun is returning to show business after 3 months, let's blame gd for that. netizens are irrational, i should know by now yet their comments are still aggravating.

  5. Reflecting or not, netizens are gonna hate.. They are gonna hate forever. If one does not good, they will put that into mind. Do they know that nobody's perfect? But it seems like they see celebrities like, perfect, angels, or whatnot.

I know Nickhun is a good guy, he doesn't deserve much hates.

    1. recently, woman beater. also have dui back in the days with a car that is not even his own car. high level of alcohol, only reflect for a little time, doesn't seem apologetic etc.

    2. Oo Oh shut up. You make it look as if he was a trouble maker without cause.
Women or not, saesangs are the worst case of stalkers ever existed.
About the DUI incident. It was 6 years ago! Jaejoong hasn't have this kind of issues since then. He was prevented from appearing for months and He DID apologize many, many times during public events. About this, his range of alcohol was just slightly above the higher permitted, it would be even legal in US.

    3. ^ is jaejoong the only one with sasaengs? No. So if it was 6 years ago then you can say he's not at fault? 6 years ago, 10 years ago, 20 years ago, 40 years ago dui is dui. It's dangerous and it's harmful. Don't deny that. And you can't say "it would even be legal in the us", what kind of logic is that? Usa and south korea are different, if you're korean and you broke south korean law, then you're at fault. South korea bac's is 0,05 and jaejoong bac's is 0,07 how is that just slightly above? The only apologize was made through sm official statement, he didn't said anything about it the 1st time he appeared again, just being teary eyed.

  7. ^ ok jaejoong one i remember but the above commentator made it like a serious one .. ---> Suspension
On April 7, 2006 at 1:20 AM, Jaejoong was pulled over in his father's friend's BMW by a police officer on his way home from the Renaissance Hotels. He was ordered to take a breath test and his level of alcohol was revealed to be 0.071%. After spending 20 minutes at the police station, he was released. Due to violating traffic laws, Jaejoong was temporarily suspended from all TVXQ activities and had his license taken away for 100 days.
I was not into kpop during those days but i am sure that he was hated coz netizen/korean are all sensitive about these kind of issue millitary/accident/scandals... and women beater??? come on 17-18 year old women that are crazy.

  9. ^ I must admit that if SM artist falls in any controversy. They make sure to take them out of that,Jaejoong temporary suspension from TVXQ..it was necessary coz it won't let other to later say that he didn't reflect or sth like comapany didn't do anything
And also kangin one..he went to military .. now he is accepted.
I think many netizen think like that if fallen in any scandal or controversy they should go out of ent. industry for 1-2 yrs to reflect it. and only can be accepted back in industry. eg. HoDong.
Nichkhun, voluntaring, thank god many are taking it positively.

  12. but wasnt jaejoong suspended for 6months when his group was really famous and busy. i remember that SM was really pissed and releasing statements of how jaejoong was punished by not being active

  13. Jaejoong likes to insult and beat girls when he's drunk, he also have a DUI but fangirls forget everything wrong and act like he's the most inoccent in KPOP.

    1. Stop creating rumours. I don't know why you dislike him that much, but really this is ridiculous. -_-

  14. ^Yep Jaejoong was suspended for 6 months and almost lost his job. He had to beg SME to get it back.

Also, about the woman beater thing.......how the hell is he even supposed to be given a chance to reflect? The article was purposely released on the DAY they were going to hold their FIRST concert (and the first group to hold a KPop concert) in South America.....its not like he could drop out....=___=
Also, its not like JYJ are even allowed to go on TV so they can't 'suspend' activities.
And right after they came back Yoochun's father passed away.....so I think that was enough emotional trauma for them (aka jet lag+scandal+father passing away).
I, also, love how people also ignored the fact that the saesang came on TV and said he really only FLICKED her on the forehead. =___=
And Jaejoong didn't have really any activities for a long period, until he got Dr. Jin.....he he was reflecting like a emo.....and his fans were really worried about him......

Netizens just need a reason to hate....
If you want to hate on JYJ just go on omana please....

it's not about hating with no reasons. the guy made mistakes so anons comment about it

    2. What are you trying to say really?

"how the hell is he even supposed to be given a chance to reflect? The article was purposely released on the DAY they were going to hold their FIRST concert (and the first group to hold a KPop concert) in South America.....its not like he could drop out" ---> sincere apology? Or atleast apology that sounds sincere? Pls don't tell me that he apologized because the statement he said about the beating was far from apology.

"its not like JYJ are even allowed to go on TV so they can't 'suspend' activities." ---> do you seriously think that the only way to reflect is just to stop appearing on tv?

"And right after they came back Yoochun's father passed away.....so I think that was enough emotional trauma for them (aka jet lag+scandal+father passing away)." ---> so jaejoong's mistakes are ok to be erased just because his friend's father passed away and he's emotionally traumatized? Come on..

"I, also, love how people also ignored the fact that the saesang came on TV and said he really only FLICKED her on the forehead. =___=" ---> have you even heard the recording omg :/ pls don't say the recording is manipulated

"he was reflecting like a emo...." ---> being emo on twitter does not equal reflecting......

Basically you just somehow acknowledge he indeed beat the girl but you're just making bunch of excuses about his wrong doing...

    3. Not trying to defed. jaejong but seriously u must then hate all koreans cause is part of their culture to scold girls and boys by flicking them in the head.
also like i once said to a serious hater. i dare u yo hang for 10 gears a bunch of girls who mark ur door with theor blood, who install a cctv outside ur hohse so they will know when and with who u are, i dare u to hang that without even saying a damn thing. aw and lets not forget that those bunch of girls will call ur familly and griends to threat them to stay away from u. Tell me if u would be able to handle that??? Those crazy girls did this things and more so yeah other idols get the same crap but is not as severe as what happens to TVXQ even girl groups get that crap

  15. Nichkun is smart. Using what the police gave him as penality to his favor by getting the public's favor...

because he is doing it not because he wanted to but because the police gace him this as a punishment for drive and drunk but instead people say he is doing voluntary work...

well, he is because police gave him that lol

  16. Jaejoong didn't learn, he is still a heavy drinker, smoker and probably uses hard drugs (his face tell a story) while driving around, beating teenager girls is worst of course

He have his fans fooled and eating of his hand but it's the charm of guys like him, they are good manipulating weaker people, eg. Chris Brown

What are you smoking? tsk. Did you read the verdict that was given to him regarding his punishment? His license was suspended for 100 days and he had to pay 4 mill won in fine. That was ALL he had to do regarding his punishment. Doing volunteer work is what he decided to do during his self-reflection time, so don't sprout some nonsense without knowing the facts.

    ReplyDelete
  18. ^Honestly, it is hating without any reason. Especially, the DUI incident. And really......if Jaejoong did do a sincere apology (btw YOU should define what a sincere apology is in this case!) he would still be hated. He is hated by the international community more than the fans in Korea anyways =__=
And, if he did apologize (sincerely...whatever that means), then his saessangs would only feel justified in harassing him more. As seen by the saessang who slapped Yoochun across the face, AFTER the video was released and he did nothing about it.
While at the concert IF you watched their apology video.......I personally DO think they apologized properly. They listened to the tapes in front of media/fans AND then apologized. And you could see the sadness, and shame in their eyes.
"Jaejoong, stated, “I’m sorry for my wrong doings in the past… I’m sorry that many fans have been heart-sick due to this issue. From now on, no matter how mentally hard, or how far beyond the limit the situation is, we will think about all the people who love us, and for them we will not falter and fulfill our responsibility as public figures.”" <----His apology.
The only thing Jaejoong hasn't done is volunteer. JYJ regularly donate their money to charity. I don't think he could do that even if he wanted to....with the amount of saessang fans he has. And anyone who has come in contact with him (including the people who work with him) have made statements that he is a good and kind person. But, I do agree that Jaejoong if he does have the chance should volunteer with abused women. And Gdragon should volunteer with drug-addicts who are trying to get off the addiction. And Seungri should volunteer with an orphanage or a single mothers pregnancy center so he won't have one night stands anymore.

The title 'woman beater' does he deserve it? No one has solid proof on how many times he hit the girl, IF he bruised her, what SHE herself did to aggravate him, if he has hit more than ONE person or if that was a single incident.....etc.

As a fan, I agree that beating people is wrong. AND I DID listen to the audio file. And it was obvious that he hit or pushed the girl maybe once and then she ran away.....and he yelled at her to stop being a sissy and come back =___= Meaning he didn't beat her to a pulp or leave bruises on her, but maybe would have if she stayed (we would never know)......

Also, as someone who has been hit by her father before.....and LOVES my dad and seriously thinks my dad is the best dad in the world (with a few faults)....I hate how people generalize this issue. Just because my dad has hit me in the past doesn't mean he is the devil or needs to be locked up etc. In the same line of thought.....just because Jaejoong has hit a saessang one or twice doesn't mean he is the devil and deserves to be labelled as a women beater.
In life people make mistakes. Like seriously probably all idols have made mistakes but their companies shield them from it. =___= When someone becomes popular irregardless of who it is....they get filled with hot air and an ego...even if they don't show it to the public. Then, they leave their guard down do stupid things and it is up to the company to block those scandals or not.
But, because idols are HUMAN too, they deserve forgiveness IF they do not continue that behavior....like every other human being deserves forgiveness. It doesn't matter if that person is Jaejoong, Nickhun, Gdragon, Psy, Daesung, actor/actresses, etc.
And honestly.......Netizens haven't even forgiven Daesung......and it wasn't EVEN HIS FAULT.

    ReplyDelete
  19. ^Also........like seriously the only reason these celebs are hated on (Jaejoong, Nickun, GDragon, etc.) is because their popularity isn't really impacted (like it seriously doesn't drop or make fans love their bias' less) and that makes people butthurt.

    LOL

Like if I were to stop fanning someone with a scandal.....it doesn't mean that the popularity of your bias would increase!

    ReplyDelete
  20. ^ well doesn't matter how popular someone is, if their personality isn't great then I don't care about the person.

No matter how successful in the end of the day they drank and drove, some beated people, and all this shit. They apologized but it doesn't erase what they did.

    ReplyDelete
  21. lol you all need to go out and stop hating on people that don't care about you. gd, nichkhun, jaejoong, seungri, etc

    ReplyDelete
  22. Geez. It looks like this issue about Jaejoong and Yoochun will never be left alone. Mm now I'm just disappointed that they didn't gut those sasaengs in the stomach for good measure, if they're going to be hated at least they should be hated for something that makes sense. Like how unfair must they feel to be recieving all this backlash when all they did was flick sasaeng's foreheads and or smack their hands away from their body. Lmao, I've seen worse acts of violence in kdramas and it seems to be a normal part of the culture there.

  23. Leave GD alone some online losers. If you hate him that much just don't buy his albums, songs and watch his show. Korea loves him so his music still ranks high on the charts, his Infinite Challenge even got over 15 ratings for the first time in korea after MBC strike.

    ReplyDelete
  24. lol you guys misunderstood. the netizen don't talk a bit about 'woman beating', most k-netizens are agreeing on that part jyj being the victim. and no, jaejoong and yoochun aren't that much loved considering their known lifestyle, and now esp with yoochun's army announcement. junsu is another case, though. anywaaay, they're talking about jaejoong's dui case back then in his tvxq days. for which, in case you're not into kpop back then, he already took 6 months of probation.

i love the #1 comment in the 2nd article anyway.
