A hiatus is a good idea, just like with snsd in 2008 when their antis were too much, they stayed away from the public eye for 8 months, and delayed their gee comeback to the next year.

Although I've always thought the controversy is daft, the big picture here is amazing. The interesting thing about this, regardless of which side you're on, is that according to Korean law CCM actually has a good case and could easily win this or at least put up a good fight. It would get really interesting if he was forced by the court to talk about buying out news outlets though, especially as he's not the only one doing it. Highly likely the original rumour articles were paid for by JYP or a similar label, just the way same way KKS pays for anti-KARA stuff on Newsen - this may all come out in the court. The entire structure of bought media in South Korea could come crashing through the courts thanks to this, if the defence brings their fighting game. If so, this could be the best thing to ever happen to Korean news media (although not so good for KKS and T-ara, obviously). This is as potentially game-changing as the Kara controversy when they sued their label. Shit just got real folks.

This means that for the media outlets to mount a defence the T-ara "bullying evidence" could actually get dragged through the court (where it will crumble, obviously).
