i agree with no3. wonder girls worked really hard to break through US market. some say they should've just stayed in korea, and even though at times i agree with them, i think wonder girls' move to break the US market is not wrong at all. their english improved so much and it shows when they are singing korean songs with english lyrics. hey, at least they didn't pronounce 'LOVE' as 'LOB'. psy is really lucky because Gangnam Style is famous, but he worked hard at it too. he experienced hardships too. wonder girls are still young. they are still experimenting. i wish wonder girls & PSY all the best!

ReplyDeleteI honestly don't think he'll make it far and long. In my opinion, Gangnam Style is now overrated. Really though, what's the hype? It's a catchy song and dance, but that's about it. Sure, he's an artist, but I've listened to many of his songs in the past (prior to his YG entrance), and they were alright. He's not the best. But hey, there's a lot of crappy artists out there who make it bigger than him, so what do I know right?
even if he's just a one hit wonder, his success is more genuine than all those tryhards kpop boy-girlgroups. I do feel kinda bad(?) towards them, but hey, it was psy who catched the attention without all the stupid hype always surrounding idols
ReplyDeletei'm happy for Psy oppa!! all my best wishes to him -I still cant believe I heard "Gangnam Style" in a morning show here in my country and I screamed like crazy and started dancing!!- but people laughing at the WGs and JYP are disturbing... I dont understand really... they worked hard too and people can calmly celebrate Psy without badmouthing others...

ReplyDeleteLOL at all the JYP jokes. The Wonder Girls themselves are kind of boring :/ I've tried to get into them out of sympathy, but they just aren't doing anything for me. Sohee's cute to watch, but it only takes a few close ups to Sunye's face before I'm done.
