Big Bang leaves for Singapore sans Seungri

Article: [MDPhoto] Big Bang with their heads low 'four members depart without controversial Seungri'

Source: Mydaily via Nate

1. [+592, -128] I'm seriously scared about kids learning from your actions...

2. [+505, -150] Why is it that there is not one b@stard with a straight head on his shoulders in this group?

3. [+490, -231] I used to really love Big Bang's songs as well as the members themselves for seeming innocent and humble... I've waken up now seeing as how one of the members has been doing such disgusting delinquent activities behind it all. I used to think that they were like g.o.d. with a clean image untouched by super stardom but how is it that each of the members act like this behind our backs.. Daesung, who looked the most innocent, hit a person with an import car.. and G-Dragon, what more can you say... The entertainment industry is so dirty ㅡㅡ

4. [+76, -5] For what little he has... I think Seungri has achieved and earned way too much...

5. [+70, -16] Just disband. How can all of them be delinquents except Taeyang? What are the odds of so many members from the same exact group causing that many problems.. There's something wrong with their heads. I'm scared that kids will try to copy them. There's no need for singers like this

wait, what has TOP done in netizens eyes? iirc he's also with a clean slate. unless korea really cared about that suicide/overdose thing in 2008.

  2. gosh there are some jealous ppl. honestly i dont like to pull the jealous card but everything has to relate back to the netizens themselves. you can see how petty they are when they whine about daesung driving an import car, just so miniscule and spiteful. if you're going to pick on ppl like that, no one will come out on top.

    1. I don't think it's jealousy (I hate people throwing that word around) but from what I understood reading the comments they really just want big bang to stop activities and go on hiatus....
It seems to be a big deal for Korean people to reflect on things and then come back being a better person and so on.

Thats how it is with them so maybe international fans should at least try to understand that even if it doesn't make sense to them.

  3. Screw you Netizens... Top and Taeyang are Good idols and about Daesung, for God shake it was an accident. About GD and Seungri I got nothing to say and I'm giving this comment as a neutral person. Unlike those who says " I was a VIP and Bla bla bla" and " I am not a VIP but i like them..." pretending to be anti or fans and posting comments i'm different!! Just by my user name, those who had been on T-ara's articles will know I'm one of the Queens!! So this is a comment from neutral person not by any fan or anti.. Blame those who did, leave TOP and Taeyang alone(including Daesung for his unintentional car accident)

  5. they want clean image?? Now ppl listen to music by scandals?? BB disband?? As long as their music attracts ppl, they wont disband. K-netizens are so overreacting, seriously. Maybe because of different culture but these ppls, idk, they really pissed me off. Knetizens want BB disband, our I-fans want them to continue making goodmusic, so they wont disband. They always think that Kpop make their country look bad but the reason i dont really like Korea are these Keyboard Heros. Someday, Korea might be destroyed by keyboard ~~ Sorry for my bad English

    1. Remember Hun, BB are idols and the Korean kids really worship their idols. We may be older and are able to think for ourselves, but there other kids out there who look up to their idols.

Disband may be too much. Just go on a hiatus.

    2. Rather than rude, i would say those Godalike name by their fans are far worst.
By having scandals of hitting your own fans. It's way too much than someone having sex scandal.

I mean you guys think TVXQ and others dont have sex life ? They are just good at keeping secret. It's normal for human to have sex , right?

Dae scandal, better than Kang In DUI and Hit and run ( or hide? ) at least he wasnt drunk. And its that motocycle who was under DUI.

And Seungri bad mouth much? Oh come on, I came name names in your bias company who were under criticizing as bad bad mouth. Or even worst disrespect behavior.
At least BB scandals involved within themselves, no one got hurt verbally or physically by them. < except Dae cases stated above , not at his fault alone>

smoking in weed? Yep but no legal further action. And even he did smoke once or regulary, who give a damn fuck. As long as he was clear out of charge.

Lol Kangin was severely punished! SM released a statement (unlike YG) and SM forced him to take a long hiatus, which can be called the 'most severe punishment' in idol world: enlisting in the army.
The Korean netizens just want SR to go on a hiatus. I don't thnk that is too demanding.

  10. so if Dae drove a Kia or Hyundai he'd be forgiven already?

I understand that in Korean society idols need to uphold a perfectly clean image because there is this belief that idols are models for young people. But that's just not how things work in real life.
I guess it's because I'm not Korean but I just don't give a damn who Big Bang guys sleep with and what they do in private time. I want more music from them, that's all.

    1. True. That's why GDYB were so upset, YG put them in Idol group , they never have pure, clean image since start. Poor them, to have such burden. Knetizen are too much indeed.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Fans' business is the music. Period. It's not who you slept with, who you get along with, how many sausages you ate for breakfast that day, etc. A real fan likes you because of the music you make, and that's it. A fan who cares about your personal shit like it's their own business and decides if they like you based on that is a fake, not even worth having in the first place. Groups are better off without that kind of dead wood and these scandals are a good thing because they sort out the fake posers from the real fans who care about MUSIC, the only thing that matters.

I-fans think differently from k-fans. Always bare this in mind.
At least the person who comments about "GDYB were so upset about putting them in an idol group" made more sense. YG shouldnt have marketed them as idols. (but on the other hand, idols sell and bring in $$.)

  15. Its funy how neizens someone because of what they heard...yes its bad IF its true but what people really know? Its only between those people who's involve.. netizens dont know the real shit... they talk like their GOD.. BB boys or other idols were only human who makes mistakes and i like BB because they're not trying hard to be perfect and please people's asses by showing a fake side infront of the camera or the fans... i would rather like bigbang being them and doing what they wanna do than those other idols or people who have nothing else to do than look at other peoples mistakes and judge them... bigbang might did bad things but making mistakes is a human nature so why act like your perfect.

Why? Cause he has a fanbase that doesn't give a shit if he's a shitty person because they'll support him no matter what. Woman beater and all.

Vips support BB - weed smoking, choking and al.

    2. And Tiger Woods is a sex addict who slept with dozens of women while married and he's still playing in the masters. So what's your point? The reason they all still have careers is because they are talented. It doesn't mean people condone what they did.

I understand that the culture in Korea is different and the Netizens like to scream for punishment and reflection when their public figures step a toe out of line, but do you really think that's a good thing? Look what they did to Kang Ho Dong and Leesang. Look at their high suicide rate. Maybe Korean's as a culture need to reflect a bit on their need for conformity and their propensity to drag down those who don't fit their definition of perfect.

I like some Korean popular culture. That doesn't mean I have to like everything that Korea or Koreans do.

  33. Some korean netizens are so funny. Love or not love Bigbang is your choice. You can hate them because of this or that, but your cannot ask them do what you think right or do not what you think wrong. And it doesn't their fault if many others still love them no mater what. Bigbang is going strong till their music pleases the audience.

    ReplyDelete
  34. It's not like these netizens represent the majority of people in Korea so whatever. Big Bang is still doing great. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  35. go an hiatus and reflect..ok daesung did that so why the hate? now they hate him cuz of his foreign car? what relevance has the car?

    ReplyDelete
  36. AS my perception on K-netizens reaction they want BB to just reflect on their wrong doings!
Bcoz they seem acting nothing has happened.
We can't apply our own culture in their culture bcoz its really different.. Most importantly they are KOREAN's. i agree they are adult & must have privacy but as a celebrity you have a power/charisma to influence others.
Daesung Car accident its either fault or not someone got killed in the accident.. Nobody was there other than him ,the most might cause or not in the death of that Man.
Fan's must realized wrong doings can't be right!
In comparison to Kang-In SME at first terminated his activities in SJ & then sent him to army while YGE nothing strong disciplinary actions been done.
G-dragon illegal drugs issue.. w/c is really a very alarming act. But YGE just pretend yah its okay his young, that's why it did not pursue the case.. But still its ILLEGAL DRUGS.. its like saying to people its okay to take drugs in minimal dosage & its normal to his age.OMG!!
& here we go the Fans again defending him about that issue.. WHEN IT HAPPEN THAT A USED OF ILLEGAL DRUGS/SUBSTANCE IS OKAY FOR YOUNG ONES BECAUSE THEY JUST TEND TO EXPLORE??
Fans: Its their music we care not their personal lives.. Not all people are thinking like that.. Some People copy things what their IDOL's doings.
Seungri : SEX SCANDAL , yes I agree his an adult & his a guy, when is premarital sex become right?? its korea & in Asian country its not morally accepted! its IMMORALITY.. Your a Celebrity & could influence that ONE NIGHT STAND is okay or its cool. Even its consensual your in ASIA!! its IMMORAL for our culture! If u want to do it be discrete ..
Big Bang must just reflect on their wrong doings.. But its too much if netizen will be asking to disband.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Most comments here are as lulzy as netizen's. Or even WORSE

First off, if you're an "idol" you HAVE to have a clean image. If you want to do whatever you want in your personal life, please debut as a regular artist.
I mean... I'm also a human -as the rest of you- and that doesn't mean that i will get away with my wrong doings through my whole life. If some people point at me for being wrong or doing something, so be it (?), that's what you get when you do something bad (?). Plus, the company nor Seungri has come clean about this issue and the main point here as that- as an idol- he must give an explanation or a proper apology to the public or else, resign, because your dutty as an idol is to portray yourself as a role model. PERIOD.

I mean, I'm not critizicing them specifically, I'm critizicing the fans that blindly take part in defending their idols no matter what, accusing others of being "jelous" or "malicious" and what have you.

people have to realize that what infuriates(?) the authors of these comments is the hability that some famous people have to get away with everything, being successful and STILL being called an idol (someone with a clean image)

And lol @ someone who replied about drugs are not that bad. Marijuana is not THAT bad, but STILL! IT'S ILLEGAL IN THIS COUNTRY -_- he did something illegal!

I REALLY don't get the point about the whole YG vs. SM. If idols behave badly they should be punished like everyone else. I don't see why they deserve special treatment. I don't see how accusing other companies will dim their own responsabilities XD

    So dissapointed, really.

  40. You know, knetizens are just going to have to suck it up and get over it. Big Bang is not going to take a year off to "reflect". They have a world tour going on right now. It's a business.

If Korea and Asia take this idol business so serously, then stop calling Big Bang idols. This is stupid and don't pull out that "we have to protect the children crap." Most teenagers are smart enough to know right from wrong and the ones who aren't would be more likely infuenced by their own parents than an "idol".

    ReplyDelete
  43. Well, I think as humans, all of us make mistakes and we deserve a second chance. Wouldn't you want others so give you another chance instead of criticising you? And on top of that, Daesung's was an accident. He could have been injured himself. What makes you think he wanted that? T.O.P and Taeyang are totally innocent. G-Dragon's was probably not intentional. Who the hell in their right mind would do that? You would probably say G-Dragon but he would have enough sense to know what would happen if he was caught. Plus, it was only a weak positive. Which meant he did not smoke it often. For Seungri, well there's nothing I can say about that but as the youngest of the band, we should give him a second chance. If Big Bang is capable of producing good music, why not give all of them a second chance? All of us have made mistakes before, but if it wasnt for the people around us who understood and forgave us, we would feel guilty right? I am sure thats exactly how Big Bang feels. Give them a chance to make amends for their mistakes. Don't be too fast to make judgements. On top of that, about protecting children from all these, I feel that this would be essential for them to know that this is wrong. It would actually indirectly help them because their parents would be able to use this example to teach them whats right and whats wrong.I understand that parents are very worried about their children learning from all these scandals but I believe that they would know right from wrong without anyone teaching them. I also believe that the schools would teach them to be a better person. Thank you for taking time to read my comment and this is just my opinions. Just to let you guys know, I am not a VIP and I am not trying to help them cover up for what they did. I just want you guys to know my opinions on this. Sorry this is so long :p
