[+749] No crime was committed, please just leave him alone. What do you mean "video spreading online," why is that necessary?

[+694] Everyone is free to do both clubbing or smoking. The only problem here is an ethical one that comes with your career, like how there are certain rules that doctors or lawyers need to follow for the sake of their professions. He's an actor and part of that job is managing your image so it's true that behavior like this is a bit surprising for his viewers ㅎㅎ anyway, hope to see him healthy and happy in different works soon

[+582] Let him play and date all he wants while he's still young

[+194] I don't care if people smoke, you're free to do what you want, but I really can't stand it when they do it out on the streets and throw their butts on the floor

[+149] Smoking's fine... but is his agency not managing him? It does make me question if anyone cares about his image.

[+300] It's not like he burned someone with his cig, he was just simply smoking outside

[+174] Is smoking... not allowed anymore? 😮

[+136] Yes, it's true that we're all free to smoke and whatever, but he's a celebrity, and he should be cautious of showing an image like this out of consideration for his fans

[+164] While what he did may technically not be considered a crime, it's still "wrong" and I find it ridiculous that people are defending him...

[+72] Do people... not have anything better to do...??? Why are you all acting as if you don't go clubbing or smoke??? Go take a nap if you're bored enough to whine about this.

[+70] So he didn't throw his butt on the floor or anything like that, he was just simply smoking outside and people have a problem with it?
- [+92] No no, he threw his butt on the floor. And it's already in the news that he was smoking in a no smoking area. Go read the full news.

[+41] With how he naturally just threw it on the ground, you can tell he's done this quite often ㅋㅋㅋㅋ please don't litter, trash goes in the trash

[+20] People need to get it straight that this isn't a problem of a celebrity being caught smoking, it's that he threw his cigarette butt on the ground. No one cares if he smokes or not but you shouldn't be littering.

Article: Choi Hyun Wook writes handwritten apology for throwing littering cigarette... "I apologize for disappointing you"

Source: Yonhap News via Naver

[+216, -8] It's not necessarily just the cigarette butt being thrown on the floor that's the whole issue... It's the image of seeing an actor hanging out by a pub known for being a hunting ground by men to pick up girls at. It totally shatters his image. I feel like a lot of the younger new actors these days lack that seriousness, that weight to their image. They all look the same, too... that Seo In Guk style face with the slanted eyes. There's a reason why actors like Won Bin can get away with doing nothing for 10 years but still have a whole audience waiting for him. Because the actors these days just lack that mysterious quality, that upright image...

[+105, -7] His handwriting's so childish;; ㅋㅋ and yeah, technically there's no problem with a grown adult going clubbing, smoking, hitting on girls... but for a known actor to be doing all that, it just shows that he doesn't care about his image at all.. ㅋㅋ

[+72, -7] What's up with his handwriting... why are all the actors like this these days...

[+57, -3] I don't like smokers for this reason. They throw their butts out anywhere they want, spit on the ground...

[+26, -5] Is he a foreigner?? His handwriting looks like it was written by a foreigner three-year-old...

[+11, -0] I don't know who he is but someone should buy him a handwriting workbook from the choding section

[+6, -0] Kids have messy handwriting these days because they're so used to banging on a keyboard all day. I'm speechless at how bad his handwriting is, especially for an apology letter.

[+3, -0] His handwriting looks like an 8-year-old choding wrote it ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

[+3, -0] An actor has a certain kind of image to upkeep... and this is not one of them
