Solar talks about the need to keep Mamamoo together

[+529] Mamamoo as a group has a quality that other girl groups don't have. When they get on stage, they make it feel like a concert all their own. Without each other, that charm disappears... It's unfortunate.
[+369] Mamamoo was my next favorite girl group after SISTAR ㅠㅠ
[+122] Girl groups never last long
[+79] A Mamamoo solo... doesn't really feel impactful. We're going to lose that vibe of us all cheering their name at college festivals. With Whasa's media controversy recently, I reckon it's going to be even harder for the group to ever get back together again..
[+78] As a team or as a soloist, just respect their decisions! I know that they are the best singers ever who stuck by me at my hardest moments!!!!
[+24] Solar's right. These members are all only popular because of their groups, but they all seem to think that their group's popularity is their own individual popularity, and end up going solo just to flop ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ People like you for the group you're in, not for necessarily just you...
[+19] It's the way these groups are... they shine brightest together, aren't much on their own...
[+18] I'm guessing the disbandment's more for financial reasons...
[+12] Individual growth is just as important as team growth
[+11] It's been 10 years since their debut. Their contracts expired, they brought in dozens of CF deals for the company, even renewed with them once already... Asking for a second renewal is a bit greedy, no? They stuck with their group long enough, and maybe it's time that the members are allowed to do what they want. Their music styles are all very different as it is. It's the perfect time to go solo. If Lee Hyori had stayed with FinKL, if Jay Park had stayed with 2PM, if Beyonce had stayed with Destiny's Child, if Michael Jackson had stayed with the Jackson 5, they would never be as big as they are now as soloists. If she truly wants the best for her members, she needs to respect their wishes and let them go. There's a lot of hype around Whasa right now as a soloist, and I'm really looking forward to seeing her potential.
[+8] The only successful soloist out of a girl group and even boy group has only ever been Lee Hyori
[+8] Separate or together, Mamamoo is Mamamoo
[+4] It's a money issue at the end of the day. Do you split between four or take it all for yourself? What would you choose?
[+2] They've spent long enough as a team already, it's time to let them go if they want to go solo
[+1] Whasa has really cemented herself as a soloist so I don't think it'll be easy for them to get back together... Just let everyone go their separate ways. It's putting too much pressure on everyone to hang on to the team like this.
