[+1,628] Olivia Rodrigo probably feels like she is being dissed out of nowhere..;

[+690] And what have her agency or music video producers been doing this whole time? They should be the ones apologizing... to Yena. Because what did Yena do to deserve this? She was just following instructions. You can't just copy ideas because you don't want to do your own jobs.

[+597] There's a reason you're not allowed to do certain things...

[+171] Her team was too lax with everything. With how big K-Pop has become, a lot more research and asking around needed to have been done before this whole comeback even took place. There's a process to these things that you can't just skip over, and they skipped one of the most basic things. Everyone's at fault here, both Yena and Yue Hwa alike.

[+130] I see her fans defending her saying she was just doing whatever her agency told her to do, and I hope you realize that you now forfeit all rights to call her an artist if you're going by that logic. She's a "performer," then, but I suppose that's what an idol really is all along.

[+108] The word 'Hate' feels a bit too heavy to use as a "cute diss"...

[+68] Where is this weird senior logic coming from...

[+53] Whoever titled her song doesn't seem to know what the word 'Hate' is used as internationally

[+50] The album is out of respect for her? Not hate? Then why didn't you use another word except 'Hate'?

[+14] I don't mean to support her concept but from a marketing standpoint, I have a feeling that her agency knew this would be controversial but pushed it forward for the noise marketing. I'm sure 'Hate Rodrigo' is just an opening for her actual comeback. You can tell from the way the articles spend more time describing who Rodrigo is as an artist, and it makes me think that both sides are in on it as a marketing tactic. I've noticed that a lot of foreign rising stars hop on viral short form content trending in Korea, too.

[+7] Can't stand fans who always blame scandals on the company but all the positive things are credited to the idol ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

[+3] I'm just amazed that this whole thing made it out of production from the title to the music video
