1. [+735, -6] Korea does not have a culture of hitchhiking in the first place. It's so selfish of them to not even do any prior research and then act like we're the problem for not picking them up.

2. [+649, -5] Foreign beggars

3. [+595, -4] These people don't have any street smarts. Not getting picked up for a ride is actually safer than getting picked up. Imagine trying this in Central and South America or in Africa? 99% chance that you won't be alive to see the next day. And our country has a headache of an insurance policy if you get into an accident while driving a stranger in your car. And why would anyone even give you a ride when you're a complete stranger? We don't even trust our own people...

4. [+30, -1] Wait, do they even realize how far Seoul and Busan are to be hitchhiking that distance? Please study maps before trying things like this, and don't go on vacations at all if you can't even afford basic expenses like transportation. Just stay home and watch videos on YouTube.

5. [+27, -0] Hitchhking my a$$... I bet you these people would never act like this in their home countries so why do they act like this here..

6. [+23, -0] The audacity of refusing to spend any money but expecting others to spend their money for you ㅋㅋ

7. [+22, -0] ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ So they had enough money to buy flights to Korea but no money for a bus ride around? And why should Koreans even be expected to provide free rides to foreigners like you? You could end up being thieves or weirdos.

8. [+21, -0] Hitchhiking is a nice word for penniless beggars

9. [+21, -0] Kids like them won't wake up till they meet a criminal

10. [+19, -0] A few days ago, I saw one of those infamous 'backpackers' at the subway. If you have any brain at all, please don't give money to those people.

11. [+16, -0] ㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎ I've never seen any type of hitchhiking on our roads in our country

12. [+16, -0] What is this crazy story... Since they're in Busan, I suggest they take a swim across to Japan and drink up all that nuclear water too

13. [+15, -0] These white yankees are always vacationing in Asia while refusing to learn the local languages because they're so caught up in their white supremacy. They always speak to your face in English and confidently expect you to understand them.

14. [+15, -0] And if a driver did pick them up and got into an accident? Can you imagine the videos and the sh*t storm they'd cause?

15. [+14, -0] Just take the bus, man

16. [+13, -0] ㅎㅎㅎ Why would you even behave like this in another country?

17. [+11, -0] Stay the f*ck home if you don't have money, you white beggars!

18. [+10, -1] Someone should drive them over to the salt ponds ㅋㅋㅋ

19. [+10, -0] Ugh, pathetic beggars, tsk tsk. Didn't even do any basic research about the country they're visiting.

20. [+10, -0] Did they expect special treatment because they're white or something?

1. [+579, -3] There is no hitchhiking in Korea

2. [+343, -8] A collab of beggar's mindset and ignorance. Do they think that just because they're white, they should just get free rides?!

3. [+276, -4] And who would be responsible if something happened in the wrong car.. And why would you expect anyone to give you a free ride from Seoul to Busan? You could be complete angels and I wouldn't want to do it...

4. [+189, -7] It's because people keep catering to white people like them that they keep expecting special treatment to be their right

5. [+58, -0] Taking the KTX would get you there in 2 hours and 30 minutes. And why are they expecting cherry blossoms in Busan? They did no basic research prior to coming here.

6. [+56, -1] Who told them that hitchhiking in Korea is easy? There is no such thing as hitchhiking in our country. And it's not even a short distance but all the way to Busan? That's so shameless.

7. [+44, -0] In the five hours that they spent trying to hitch a ride, they could've taken the KTX, gotten there, grabbed a meal, and walked around already. And if they wanted cherry blossoms, they should've gone to Jinhae or Han River. They did no research at all.

8. [+39, -1] Hitchhiking in Korea is difficult not because our people don't care but because we all know to be cautious of strangers. We have very little accidents because of that.

9. [+20, -0] They saw a post that said hitchhiking in Korea is easy? They were totally misled. 99% of the people who were born here have never seen or even heard of such a thing.

10. [+17, -0] They're lucky they're even still alive thanks to attempting this in a country like ours...
