IVE demonstrates live singing ability on encore stage
Article: Divided reactions to IVE's encore live stage... "refreshing high notes vs is this considered good?"

[+89] So who are these "some" opinions that think otherwise??? IVE has improved a lot in my opinion
[+30] I think the people criticizing IVE are super hypocritical and have no idea how K-Pop has changed. IVE can get all the hate you want for their live singing but that won't change the fact that they are daesang winners. Even BTS wouldn't be considered "good" live singers by your standards, and yet they're regarded as the symbol of K-Pop. Entertainment companies have realized that K-Pop has many niches and create groups that cater to those niches, and live singing is not necessarily a standard that matters in these niches. It's only the public who still hasn't caught up to these changes that think live singing matters. No one cares about live singing anymore as long as it's not horrendous ㅋㅋ
[+28] Well, it's their own song, I don't know how you wouldn't be able to sing it... Let's not act like we hold idols to standards any higher than people who just dance on stage.
[+28] I listened to their encore on YouTube yesterday and thought it was decent. Not sure what the point is in bringing up "some" opinions about a negative response.
[+21] ?? I thought they did well
[+3] Honestly, pop music is targeted toward teens. Let them listen to what they want ㅋ
[+3] I'm sure they'll get better
[+2] If you add up their experience including audition/survival shows, they've actually got five years of experience under their belt... and I will admit that their live singing doesn't reflect that. They have a long way to go. Yes, they are bad singers.
- [+1] Yeah, the fact that people are still putting their skills up for debate at all means they aren't at the level of "good" yet
[+2] Jang Wonyoung is five years into her career as a singer and is still battling skills controversies
[+-] If you consider this bad, I wonder what your standards are for really bad? ㅋㅋㅋ If your standards are so high, maybe you should stop watching idol stages and go watch an opera or something ㅋㅋ
[+-] They're still young, I'm sure they'll continue to improve with time. Honestly, they've been at the top of their game since debut with daebak after daebak, but I don't see signs of them getting complacent with their popularity; they've actually been improving, so I'm happy with their progress.
