1. [+419, -6] What's difficult about this cult is that.. when members are exposed, they are told to lie about leaving, which is why I find people who claim to be leaving so hard to believe

2. [+118, -4] You're only leaving now? When Jung Myung Suk has already served 10 years in jail for s*xual assault? You're only leaving now?

3. [+115, -24] I'm glad that he's choosing to leave now after spending so long in the JMS cult

4. [+73, -3] You had to have known in your mind that this was a cult. You're only acting like the victim now because your career is on the line. Don't act like you're leaving. You are all accomplices in their crimes. "Brainwashing" only when it's convenient to your story.

5. [+33, -1] So you stayed quiet all this time while Jung Myung Suk was serving time in jail for s*xual assault... and you're only leaving now that it's become a problem for you with the media?

6. [+31, -0] Your aunt's a pastor, do you really think it's going to be so easy for you to leave? And your parents fully believe that your sickness got better because they prayed for you through JMS and I doubt they have any concerns about the cult... none of this will be as easy as you think, tsk tsk.

7. [+20, -0] I heard your aunt's a pastor; what's her relation to Jung Myung Suk???????? Funny how he says these lies because he still wants to keep making money as an idol ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

8. [+35, -20] This is not your fault

9. [+12, -0] Why are you lying... I don't believe it, just stay off of TV.

10. [+12, -0] All these cults need to be destroyed

11. [+12, -1] Cults are not so easy to leave... It's funny how everyone who's caught being in JMS claim that they're going to leave like this is some local restaurant they were regulars at. These cults operate on confusing and harassing you, stalking you... And I'm also surprised that he's able to cut off a religion he's believed his whole life like this..

12. [+13, -3] Whatever religion it is, I find it wrong that families indoctrinate their children from birth. I find that to be child abuse. You should be allowed to explore these things as a fully grown adult and make that decision for yourself.

13. [+10, -0] How easy will it be for someone to leave when they were brainwashed for so long?

14. [+9, -0] What a long-winded lie ㅋㅋㅋ It's not like this is the first time Jung Myung Suk has been exposed for his crimes... he's committed plenty of crimes all this time ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

15. [+9, -0] It was total coincidence that his brain had filled with fluid as a child and that they were able to operate on him, but I like that he's able to point out the moment his parents fell for the cult. It's good that his parents are now putting their son above the cult because I'm sure there are a lot of families that believe their cult over their own children. I hope that he continues to persuade his parents of the medical explanation behind how his brain got better and how it was a complete coincidence that their praying did anything for it. I don't think they'll fall for the cult again once they're able to see that.

16. [+7, -0] Indoctrination from birth is seriously child abuse

17. [+7, -0] There are doctors who believe in JMS... I bet you that they made doctors lie about made up diseases and claim that prayers healed them just to convince more followers

18. [+7, -0] When you were brainwashed for over 20 years, how can you leave overnight? That stuff is in you down to your bones

19. [+7, -1] I find people who lie about leaving, that they "didn't know until the Netflix documentary" to be so sly like a snake... just own up to it, admit that you're still a fervent believer and that you will martyr yourself for the cause.

20. [+5, -0] I'm glad you've found the truth... I hope you're able to leave that place clean and clear and live a new life

21. [+5, -0] I truly think that if you have the intelligence to be able to leave these cults, you never would've fallen for one in the first place. Cults are designed to keep you in and keep logic out.

22. [+5, -0] Just sounds like these people are following a script JMS set for them

23. [+5, -0] Why exactly were you believing a religion where the leader served time in jail for anyway?

24. [+5, -0] What are we supposed to believe when the cult teaches its followers to deny association when they're caught?? And why only leave now that the media has found you?

25. [+5, -1] Good decision~~! I feel that his words are genuine... and I'm just glad that he's found the truth now ^^
