1. [+57] I hope that this was an opportunity for him to realize how imporant his position in is and how much weight rests upon his shoulders. He's at an age where the first time can be a mistake so I hope that people aren't being too harsh on him... I'm sure he's learned now just how careful he needs to be about every word that he speaks.

2. [+36] I'm sure he's realized his mistake, and posting a second apology means he's been reflecting, so let's please stop with the hate ㅠㅠ I've seen several communities say some things about him that were terribly worded

3. [+26] I hope this was an opportunity for him to be better in more ways than one..!! It was a time for him to reflect on what was wrong and look back on his words more carefully! Everyone makes mistakes... it's how you improve from those mistakes that should be considered more important. I hope Jay continues to grow and mature ㅠㅜㅜ

4. [+30] I don't think he could've imagined that this would become as big as it has become... Hopefully, he has learned to think his words through and to speak more carefully 🙌

5. [+9] Why are people beating a person to a pulp like this...

6. [+6] Look at the stupid fangirls shielding him with their lives right now ㅋㅋ

7. [+2] He's written his apology, enough with the beatings

8. [+18] Jay-ya, why did you have to say those things at all ㅠ

9. [+10] His first apology sounded a bit off but I can feel his genuine feelings in this one

1. [+123, -2] If 5,000 years of history was so easy for him, then did American history pass by him in the blink of an eye? Let this clown stick to his clownery and leave the difficult stuff to everyone else.

2. [+79, -0] Should've never even commented on history when you're this ignorant

3. [+38, -0] Who is he??? This is my first time hearing about him

4. [+28, -0] With such a lack of education... what could he have known?

5. [+12, -0] I'm sure history can feel short if you're not learning anything ㅋㅋㅋ If he thought Korea's history was a "short story", then American history must be as short as a 3 line poem ㅋㅋㅋ

6. [+10, -0] Who is he again?

7. [+8, -0] I was so mad when I first read news of this but finally I'm able to leave a comment ㅠㅠ To call Korean history a "short story" must mean that he's a phony who 'pretends' to like history, who 'pretends' to study it. If you had paid attention in high school for even a year in Korean history class, you could never have said what you said. Do you think all the high school freshmen across the nation are struggling to pass their tests over a "short story"? Are the people who struggle to pass their Korean history certification exams fools in your eyes?

8. [+7, -0] Please put these kids in basic education before standing them up on stage. Until when do we have to put up with such ignorant remarks from idols time and time again?

9. [+7, -0] It's time for the army for him... You've made your money in Korea, and you've lived here since you were a kid, so it's time you served your duty to your country, right?

10. [+6, -0] He can come back with an apology once he passes the first level of the Korean history certification exams
