1. [+534, -15] This is something that Samsung needs to take... very seriously...

2. [+208, -46] The Galaxy has cemented its image as a phone for old people. Teens and twenties will never buy it, and even people in their thirties are wary of it after the GOS update.

3. [+70, -20] Foreigners don't even consider the Galaxy a rival to the iPhone but rather Chinese phones

4. [+36, -4] Or maybe the issue isn't the Galaxy but the fact that our society is raising a generation of kids whose self esteem is attached to a product

5. [+27, -5] I think the crux of the problem is... parents buying their kids used, cheap Galaxies when they're young so the kids grow up thinking all Galaxies are sh*t and so when they're able to purchase their own phones, they switch over to the iPhone

6. [+21, -5] I think iPhone's culture is a bigger reason than any software or hardware difference. The Galaxy doesn't have a culture exclusive to its community of users. There's a huge cultural difference in the iMessage ecosystem. Apple has a clear psychological understanding of how to read people and what they want, which is one of Samsung's weakest points of research.

7. [+23, -9] Just start handing out iPhones to ajummas and ajusshis and children will naturally switch over to the Galaxy ㅋㅋ

8. [+22, -8] Koreans love trends, and these kids only prefer the iPhone because it's the trendiest product right now. Ultimately, phones should serve your needs in the end. If you need gaming specs, go for the iPhone, and if you need multi-tasking abilities, go for the folding phones. There's no reason for people to prefer the iPhone if they're not into photography or need the air drop feature. For people who only use YouTube or read the news and chat on Katalk, it's probably easier to use a Samsung phone with Samsung pay integrated and everything.

9. [+17, -3] If you work = Galaxy, if you don't work = iPhone. There are still way too many important feature limitations on the iPhone in our country.

10. [+14, -3] I remember a different article where men in their 50s and 60s were defending their Galaxies and recommending it, which made me wonder why kids in their teens or twenties would want to be associated with such a group;;

11. [+11, -0] Well, Samsung's own daughter uses the iPhone so... no further comment there

12. [+11, -1] Let kids be. They're all at an age where they're sensitive to trends. The smarter ones won't care about this kind of stuff.
