Depressed hoarder's brother shares viral story of how school violence ruined his life
Source: News 1 via Nate
The younger brother of a depressed loner made an online post asking for help for his 36 year old brother, who has been living alone in deep, suicidal depression since dropping out of college. The brother was a music major all his life who was then physically bullied by his college dorm mates, causing him to drop out and suffer from severe depression that required months of hospitalization. The family has been keeping him afloat while also begging him through the help of religious leaders and even law enforcement to leave his house and get help. His mother had to be physically removed from the premise when she had spent days begging outside his door for an answer. The brother's recent threat of suicide has caused the family to look online for help after exhausting all avenues.

2. [+683, -20] Please don't judge the family on these pictures alone when you don't know what they're going through
3. [+529, -7] School violence has ruined another life ㅠㅠ
4. [+58, -9] Sigh, just reading this makes me feel sorry for the family and what they're going through... I know that he's under a lot of pain but I wish he'd give it one more try... I've read about an organization of loners that helps anyone who's going through a similar experience, I hope he can find some help there. Find strength, everyone~
5. [+54, -0] This seems like a case where the family needs to force their way in and pull him out. He doesn't seem like he's able to pull himself out of this alone, and he will die if they leave him. It may seem aggressive immediately, but it's more important to save a life in the end. He will not be open to mental health help right away so maybe just bring him home, look after him, and slowly bring around to the idea of therapy. I spent a few years as a loner myself after going through some mental difficulties, and it's really hard for someone in the throes of depression to find a way out of it on their own. You need someone by your side to lead and support you.
6. [+45, -2] It's difficult enough to graduate from an arts junior and high school, but to have it all gone because of school violence ㅠ a life has been ruined
7. [+37, -0] I want to save him, clean up his home, and help him move to somewhere with brighter sunlight
8. [+29, -0] People who bully those weaker than them will have hell awaiting them
9. [+29, -0] The problem is that such young men exist all over our society. Lonely, under challenging circumstances in an increasingly competitive society with no way out ㅜㅜ The older generation needs to be pulling society in a healthier direction but it's getting worse by the minute ㅠ
10. [+28, -0] The trash who bullied him in his dorm needs to be taken care of first. This country is so rotten to its core. When things like this happen, all we ever tell the victims is to "find strength", "hold it in"... We need to change this by going after the bullies first.
11. [+27, -0] Not even middle or high school but school violence in college... crazy... I hope the hyung is able to open his heart and come back out to the world.
12. [+26, -0] His depression is a result of the stress and hurt inflicted upon him by others. His brain is broken. I wish people like him would find the will to just say f*ck it, f*ck everyone, I'm going to live how I want no matter what anyone says
13. [+22, -0] Issues like this hit too close to him these days ㅠ I hope he reclaims his health ㅠ
14. [+19, -0] Perhaps things might improve for him if they find the college seniors and sue them to receive punishment
15. [+17, -0] And this is why we should never forgive any celebrity who is found to be a school bully. Their victims will forever live with the mental trauma of their actions, to the point where the entire trajectory of their lives can change for the worse.
