1. [+48] I liked the homage to Jennie's 'Playing With Fire' music video scene.. she had such an innocent look back down but she's totally dark mode in 'Shut Down' now..

2. [+41] Let's go renew our contracts.. please, unnis. We still want to see more of you. Love you girls, Queen Pink 💖🖤

3. [+26] Could all this talk about a second act be hopeful news for contract renewals?!

4. [+11] Black Pink jjang 💓💓

5. [+11] Let's renew ㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜ ❤️

6. [+2] I always figured that Black Pink would renew their contracts no matter what so I never thought it was something I had to worry about...

7. [+2] Feels like they're running out of new ideas for concepts, though..

8. [+1] But YG would definitely renew with them? If only they'd have comebacks more often, though... They're going to be in their thirties by the time we wait around for the next one.

9. [+6] Is reflecting on past music videos a new trend or something? BTS did something similar too

10. [+2] This is actually unsettling for me because this has caused a lot of rumors about a possible disbandment. Something about the lyrics feels like an end as well. Everything they've released thus far feels like a goodbye.. and their contracts are up for renewal after their world tour. There's a lot of talk about how fans feel like YG's taking the girls on their last run and trying to milk them for everything before they throw them out.. 😢

1. [+1,300] After watching their music video and noticing all of their past songs and solos being spread around the signs as well as the homages to their past music video signs, it does feel like they're at a point in their careers where they're trying to reflect and clean things up. I think the rumors about a disbandment are unfounded... just feels like they're closing act one and getting ready to start act two.

2. [+1,200] Black Pink can't disband... they have so much more influence as a group than they do individually

3. [+954] YG would be crazy to let them disband... it'd be proof that they hate money if they do disband them

4. [+127] I just want to see Black Pink for a long, long time... ã… ã…

5. [+191] I think 'Shut Down' just means that it's a shut down of the Black Pink as we have come to know them. I think they're getting ready for a new beginning with something more hip hop than what they've been doing, especially since they've been doing more boom-bap rap as well.

6. [+591] They're at the peak of their careers and are entertaining the mainstream globally, why would they throw away the title of being the best girl group in the world? And even if YG's the one deciding to disband them, they're definitely at a level now where they can set up their own agency and manage themselves

7. [+46] I don't think it's a disbandment, just a look back at all that they've achieved thus far... Having all of their past songs and music videos on display feels more like an exhibit, showing off everything they've done, before they open a new door for themselves. I think that's why they went with a boom bap rap to differentiate themselves with other girl groups and to define themselves as a hip hop group for sure.

8. [+137] I can see Black Pink not renewing but there will never be a case where YG's the one denying them renewals ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ I know a few are trying to compare them to what happened with 2NE1 but the situation is completely different. At the time of 2NE1's disbandment, YG already had huge cash flow from Big Bang, whereas Black Pink is YG's sole source of income at the moment. People also forget that when Park Bom was in hiatus, Yang Hyun Suk forced her to perform at the 2015 MAMA stage and she got a ton of hate for that. Black Pink's image, however, is not that bad, and there's no reason for YG to disband Black Pink unless it's the members refusing to renew.

9. [+14] I can't feel assured at all. 2NE1 got shoved in their treasure chest only to be disbanded... and I can totally see the members wanting to do solos and separate things, too...

10. [+98] They're up for renewals next year. So many idols have already talked about how it doesn't matter how much you love each other, it's always the renewals that end up being harder than the initial contract signings, and that they had to give up a lot to renew together. Black Pink's at the top right now so I can see why people are speculating a disbandment considering all of the nuances that go into renewals (though I really wish they won't)

11. [+2,100] But how is YG going to make money without Black Pink ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

12. [+33] They can 'Shut Down' right now but Jisoo can 'Open' it back up with her solo (there were a bunch of Black Pink titles in their teaser and 'Open' was in there too)

13. [+184] They can't disband, Jisoo still has a solo coming up

14. [+48] If we're deciding disbandments by song titles, then they should've disbanded after 'Like the Last Time'

15. [+150] Poor YG, how will they make money now?? No Big Bang, and now no Black Pink? That's going to put a dent in their finances.
