1. [+2,008, -126] Is the government ever going to place restrictions on Kakao branching into everything like this? They're like a hippo just eating everything up...

2. [+433, -36] The biggest reason SM is insistent on having Chinese members in their groups is because they can't be free of Chinese investments

3. [+343, -44] CJ was basically unable to accept SM's style of pushing the bar since CJ prefers stability in their content... seems like Kakao had no problem biting in with all of their Chinese money

4. [+85, -0] Lee Soo Man is going to have quite the full belly. He set up his own Like agency and started pulling SM's profits under the table through it. Once word of that got out and stocks stopped going up, he's selling the whole thing off as some high profile company. How greedy.

5. [+54, -1] Lee Soo Man was no longer able to play around with SM's money once the company got too big so he made his own company to filter profits through... and after getting caught, he's just passing all of his SM stake and the company off to Kakao for quite the extra profit on top of that ㅋㅋ

All they've been doing is acquiring and merging companies, getting them to IPO, profiting off of stocks, and using that to acquire other companies. All of their profits have come from mergers. KakaoTalk is a great product in itself but Kakao as a company is a cancer to our stock industry.

8. [+39, -3] I personally think it was better for CJ to not acquire SM... the management risk is too big. They can use the money they would've spent on acquiring SM on just creating higher quality content.
