Article: AkMu's Lee Chanhyuk and Lee Soohyun renew contracts for 5 years instead of escaping YG

1. [+628] If YG is good to them, there's no reason not to renew. What is there to say when they claim that YG is so good to them?

2. [+513] Honestly, it's not like YG is forcing drugs on their kids ㅋㅋㅋ As long as the artists themselves keep their heads on straight and not fall down the wrong path, there's no better agency to be under than YG ㅋㅋ

3. [+287] What is there to question when AkMu themselves are saying they like YG because they're good to them? ㅋㅋㅋ

4. [+250] It's always good to be in contract with a big agency. People need to worry about themselves.

5. [+79] I would've preferred that Lee Chanhyuk set up his own agency ㅜㅜ but I still support them!! 👍

6. [+47] I personally wanted them to go to Yoo Hee Yeol

7. [+52] YG's stronger than Samsung in the end, aren't they? I better see Yang Hyun Suk and Seungri locked up in jail soon

8. [+32] Is it loyalty? YG lucked out... I hope we hear some good music from them then.

9. [+14] The title bothers me... it's not like the kids are chained there 🤔

10. [+9] But really, why?

1. [+174] Honestly, YG doesn't mess with AkMu and supports them thoroughly so.. as a fan, there's nothing to complain about

2. [+79] 'Escape' ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Insight is pretty honest about where their opinion stands

3. [+52] YG may be rotten up at the top but they probably give their artists the best treatment out of the top 3

4. [+46] I really thought they'd leave and set up their own agency...

5. [+35] If an artist has a distinctive style of their own, I think YG is the best fit for them. They start their contracts off with a 5:5 income distribution that increases to 2:8 upon renewal while other companies are at 7:3. They also allow you to take as much time as you need to work on your album so even if you don't renew with them in the future, you still get to retain that 'artist' image. You come away with a stronger portfolio than before.

6. [+25] Why wouldn't you leave a company that's filled with prostitution and drugs... ㅠㅠ why... so many other agencies would love to have you ㅠ-ㅠ why YG? Is it because of their cafeteria?
