1. [+4,614, -413] If he was truly a boomer, he wouldn't have the sense to apologize like this. What the other party wanted was an apology and he's got it. The media and the broadcast industry needs to stop it now.

2. [+4,062, -346] The part in his apology about not having many years left... really broke my heart... ㅜ be healthy

3. [+3,178, -670] Protect Lee Soon Jae at all costs!

4. [+343, -43] His wife was the one who abused her power. He then talked it over with the manager, apologized, and brought his wife out to apologize too. He even called his agency and spoke with his CEO to request better conditions for the manager. And he even supported him with some money after he was fired. This scandal was more of a battle between the manager vs the wife, and the manager vs the company, but the manager used Lee Soon Jae's name for media play hype, even though Lee Soon Jae already apologized and paid for the wrongdoing. I'm not saying Lee Soon Jae is completely innocent in this since he failed to manage those around him but what more should he be expected to do?

5. [+310, -26] If you've watched 'Grandpa Over Flowers', you'll know what kind of person he is... He's always looking to learn more and better understand those younger than him. I don't know about his wife but Lee Soon Jae himself is a man worthy of respect for me.

6. [+275, -93] People need to knock it off now. These people are in their 80s. If a grandma or grandpa stopped you on the street and asked you to hold a jug of water for them, wouldn't you hold it? Why is this so controversial that he's all over the news when this isn't even a crime about theft or sex crimes? He apologized and paid for the wrongdoing, this should never have gotten this out of hand.

7. [+255, -62] I can't imagine how sad he must feel. He did so much to live a careful life for the last years of his life but now this will be tacked on to his legacy forever. I'd feel so regretful. His wife was in the wrong but his manager is also malicious for recording everything and making a fuss out of every little thing.

8. [+189, -47] His wife is in the wrong but let's be honest here... all the manager does is work from 10 to 7 and sleep in the car after driving them around. You really couldn't help them carry a jug of water to the front door?

9. [+127, -28] He's admitted to his fault and apologized, isn't this enough? The way the manager is acting is making me wonder if he wants more money out of all of this... Especially if he was already recording them before he was fired...

10. [+109, -25] This manager is a psycho who was recording them after working for them for two months. How calculating. How can you treat an old man this cruelly when you know he doesn't have many years left?

11. [+103, -14] Enough's enough now. He's nearing his 90s. The stress of this amount is surely detrimental to his health. He's done everything that he could and I'm sure he's learned from it as well and will refrain from repeating the same mistakes. It's not like he's committed murder so enough's enough.

12. [+93, -17] ㅠㅠ This breaks my heart
