SBS issues apology for Wendy's fall at the '2019 SBS Gayo Daejun'
Article: SBS reps, "We sincerely apologize to Wendy... we have begun investigations on the accident"

1. [+548, -14] No matter what anyone says, it's Wendy who's going through the most difficult and painful time right now. I hope she gets better soon.
2. [+448, -11] They think they can get away with an apology ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ f*ck
3. [+385, -8] These SBS f*cks need to shut their music programs down. What was up with the sound quality? And you call in these idols just to get them injured, too.
4. [+34, -2] She could've died, you know that, right? And you're trying to end it all with an apology letter? Why should Wendy's reps be the one responsible for her suffering? Can you imagine the pain of falling from 3m up high?
5. [+26, -1] Pelvic fractures are serious business
6. [+21, -0] I support SM filing a lawsuit against them. They better rip off as much compensation as they can.
7. [+20, -1] SBS' first problem was hosting it at the Gocheok dome. The dome itself is not a proper environment for concerts. All it has is a big stage but the sound system is crap and cameras are forced to zoom out to capture it all. Since the dome is so big, staff also can't communicate with one another properly. SBS shouldn't have been so greedy and just held it somewhere smaller like KBS and MBC.
8. [+19, -4] Only now? Why is it that SBS is always testing the public before putting a statement out? ㅋ If they had just put out a clean apology right away, it wouldn't have gotten this bad.
9. [+16, -1] They're only issuing an apology at all because she's an idol from a huge company... I bet they would've ignored this issue altogether if the idol had been from a mid to smaller company...
10. [+16, -5] Will an apology be enough for an issue where her life was at stake?

1. [+3,371, -24] If they had apologized from the start, people wouldn't be this mad right now. Even if it's late, I hope SBS is doing all they can to handle this properly and are planning on compensating Wendy for it.
2. [+1,584, -36] Sounds like they're beating around the bush on the specifics of the accident because they don't want this getting more controversial. They're so cowardly.
3. [+1,309, -15] It's obvious what their "investigations" are going to say... they'll probably blame it on some third party issue...
4. [+726, -14] SBS is leaving out any hint of blame on themselves
5. [+452, -12] So damn late with this apology...
6. [+181, -5] They're only apologizing because she's a top idol under SM. This would've been quietly buried if it was someone else.
7. [+111, -1] Ridiculous that they're posting this a day later. And why no word on the specifics of the accident? A facial injury is already huge for an actively promoting idol but the aftermath of pelvic fractures can last for so much longer than just the treatment itself. SBS needs to make sure they take responsibility until the very end, including the trauma and emotional suffering Wendy might go through, as well as how this will affect Red Velvet as a group.
8. [+88, -3] I'll be boycotting SBS the minute I see them try to blame this on some minor staff or a third party company. SBS, please show us that you can be responsible.

Article: "No markings in sight" The cause of Wendy's 2.5m fall
Source: Dispatch via Nate
1. [+1,926, -14] SBS' fault from before and after the accident..
2. [+1,852, -15] 2.5m is really high...
3. [+1,372, -11] What do you expect from the f*ckers at SBS
4. [+156, -2] Apparently her injuries are swollen so hard that they can't even diagnose her properly at this point. Imagine injuring a female idol to the point where her cheekbone, pelvis, and wrist are fractured... that's totally setting flame to her career's future. It's like asking someone to go through a dark tunnel without putting a light at the end of it. Did SBS really intend to send someone to the grave with this set up?????? SM and her parents better file a lawsuit and get compensated for this.
5. [+117, -2] So glad she's alive... that looks to at least be 3m. If she had injured anywhere near her spine, she could be paralyzed right now. Wendy's parents, please sue them.

1. [+8,257, -34] SBS, you better not be thinking of pushing the blame to someone else and apologize for this
2. [+4,367, -23] Even now, I bet SBS is trying to find a scapegoat to blame this on... Even before Wendy got on stage, other singers apparently expressed concern over the stage equipment and yet SBS ignored them all and kept going.
3. [+3,528, -25] Wow.. 2.5m, is SBS crazy? That's super dangerous. And yet they took all that time with their apology, tsk tsk.
4. [+2,331, -14] So there wasn't any marking tape to guide her either?
5. [+2,174, -15] Just thinking about this more makes me realize how much of a mess everything is, it makes me swear... please have some shame and compensate her for this.
