Article: [Exclusive] "NO Korean promos"... Japan's 'Produce' debut group JO1 preparing album in Korea

Source: SpoTV News via Naver

1. [+1,480, -13] You would think that Mnet would have enough shame to at least add in a few Korean members if they're going to debut the group in Korea but nope, they're really just giving Japan a free ride ㅋㅋ

2. [+1,199, -14] There were three Korean trainees on 'Produce Japan' who made it to the top but they were all kicked out. Korean choreographers and composers also did all the legwork for producing their stuff but there wasn't any introduction on the staff at all. Meanwhile, all the Japanese producers that made their trash songs were given airtime ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I hate Japan but seeing bias like that just maximizes anti-Japanese sentiment even more.

3. [+572, -15] Yeah, well, their faces.. would never work here

4. [+464, -6] Please just stay in your country

5. [+237, -32] You guys know that anti-Japanese sentiment is strong here, right?

6. [+75, -1] How about they start by explaining why the three Koreans were kicked out of the debut group

7. [+74, -2] So this is how Japan gets a free ride ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Obviously Koreans are going to be behind all the song composing, choreography, styling... CJ is crazy, what are they thinking?

8. [+74, -2] Fact: CJ + Mnet = pro-Japanese

9. [+64, -2] They're calling this "pure J-Pop" and yet they're debuting in Korea and training under Korean teachers ㅋㅋㅋㅋ You gotta give it to the Japanese and their ability to lie their way through everything~~~ Too bad K-Pop is ahead of you no matter what you do. I understand Japan's need to want to lie their way into an American advancement.

10. [+54, -3] How is it that there's not one handsome face ㅋㅋ and why are you preparing your labum in Korea, go do it in your own country

11. [+30, -0] Now the Japs are going to start claiming that K-Pop is theirs

12. [+22, -1] There were three Koreans on the show. Kim Heechun is 25 years old so the viewers kept hating on him to go serve in the army instead and the other two voluntarily left the show as well because of all the hate they were getting.

13. [+20, -1] That's quite brave of them... ㅋ What makes them think a group without one Korean member is going to get any albums sold here? Especially during the 'No Japan' boycotts?

14. [+19, -1] The whole point of the success of K-Pop is that the Korean fanbase is the base with a ton of international fans supporting it. What is Japan going to do with only Japanese fans?

15. [+15, -1] Well duh, they'll never be able to work here ㅋㅋ who would ever want to fangirl faces like theirs? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ A 100% Japanese group without even one Korean? Go away ㅎ even if they do debut, they'll 1,000% fail ㅋㅋ
