The fan meet originally included a 'favor event' where fans would've been able to request special fan service like 'talk and shake hands for 10 seconds', 'have Jinyoung pat your head for 5 seconds', 'get a shoulder massage from him for 10 seconds', 'have him whisper I love you in your ear', 'receive a hug', etc.
1. [+572, -55] Ah.. gross... Why not just be honest and say you want him in your bed? Japanese fans are... in heat or what?
2. [+441, -27] Even if it's a fan meeting, why should he have to whisper "I love you" in your ear...
3. [+357, -12] It's something we'll never understand but this is Japanese fan culture for you
4. [+23, -5] It's just how the culture is over there... If you don't like it, you don't have to make your money there. It's not even that bad because he's a male idol. If you look at some of the stuff that goes on at female idol fan meets, it's a mess..
5. [+15, -1] But wasn't the fan meet planned by Jinyoung's reps? I don't get why the comments are blaming the Japanese fans for this. It's not like the fans asked for any of this first.
6. [+14, -2] Whenever I see Japanese variety shows on while the family's together at dinner, it's actually such a mess. You wouldn't think this fan meet is any excessive compared to that.
7. [+11, -0] His agency is crazy for thinking of making him do this stuff
8. [+11, -0] Japanese fandom culture disgusts me. They're way too open about treating their idols like virtual relationships.
9. [+8, -2] He's just greedy, that's all. He's willing to do anything in Japan because the money's there. I heard a lot of B-list celebrities in Japan do fan events like this.
10. [+7, -0] I remember this event being super controversial for a while. I'm glad it's being taken down. A lot of fans were upset about it for one way or another.
