1. [+414, -35] Just curious, what do idols actually do in the military band?

2. [+328, -47] The average person in music has to compete against hundreds to get into the military band, does he even have an instrument he knows how to play? He made it in so easy

3. [+194, -35] I had a senior I knew from high school who served in the military band. It was a few decades ago but he told me that he learned the trumpet on his own to get in and suffered a lot once he actually served. He said he had no idea why anyone would want to serve in it unless they had a passion for that type of thing. It's definitely not an easy place to serve, especially when you're lower on the ranks.

4. [+29, -12] Why do you guys think the military band is easy? Don't talk as if he's going to be on vacation

5. [+21, -11] ㅋㅋ All the celebrities are joining the military band now that they got rid of the celebrity unit ㅋㅋ

6. [+15, -11] I had an uncle who served in it because he graduated from music college and I heard it was so tough that he was beat until his hand and nose broke... I'm sure it's not like that anymore... and that he'll get it easy for a bit before discharge, but yeah...

7. [+13, -0] Aren't you supposed to test in with an instrument in order to apply?

8. [+9, -3] What instrument does he play...?

9. [+9, -2] He'll probably be the MC guy who introduces the band at events like "and here's the military band~"

10. [+6, -3] Both Yoon Jong Shin and Sung Shi Kyung served in the military band too. They talked about it briefly on radio and TV shows and they said it was really tough when they were lower ranks. They'd get nagged at all the time and had a strict schedule in learning the instruments. From all the stories, it seems like you're forced to learn an instrument no matter what and it doesn't get easier until you climb up the ranks..
