Hyorin kicks up the heat on 'Sketchbook'

1. [+1,055, -181] This is a bit... hard to watch
2. [+606, -88] Ugh I'm sick of all these conservative mindsets;
3. [+566, -177] She's such a good singer, why does she have to be like this? Can't she wear normal clothes and focus on her vocals? Does she have to be dressed like this?
4. [+230, -36] She looks cheap because it's all just too much... I wish she'd listen to expert opinions instead of trying to do everything on her own. What a waste of her singing skills ㅠ
5. [+87, -17] Why is it cool when Beyonce does it but cheap and dirty when Hyorin or Jessie do it? Stop with the hypocrisy, you're all gross
6. [+61, -11] What's the problem? I'm sure her outfit is supposed to match her song... Are good singers supposed to wrap themselves up in clothing and never show skin?
7. [+43, -4] This isn't her own concert, this is on a public broadcast show... are there no longer any regulations? She's basically wearing nothing but fishnet stockings. I get that she has to work hard since she's her own one-woman agency now but this feels... desperate. Even if her concept is supposed to be sexy, this is just too much. It's uncomfortable to watch.
8. [+179, -146] How can kids watch this... A singer should be able to express herself through her songs... Please regulate these outfits more. Our teens are going to follow along...
9. [+35, -6] No matter how much times have changed, her outfit's still too much ㅡㅡ especially when we all know she can make just as big of an impact with her singing alone

Article: 'Sketchbook' Hyorin, "As a one-woman agency, I do all my make up, outfits, and driving myself"

1. [+969, -69] This is why everyone leaves to start their own agencies. Once you look at what you're being paid, it's ridiculous how much the agency is taking away. Coordis? Driver? You can do all that yourself and give yourself a bigger cut of the pay. What's capitalism if not making as much money as your effort?
2. [+874, -22] It's probably more profitable to do a few events on her own than do 100 with her agency
3. [+818, -32] People seem to think of the agencies as thieves for taking money from their paychecks but do you not realize the amount of investment it takes on their end to debut one idol? All the dance lessons, singing lessons, image making, variety lessons... and they're training hundreds of them at once only for a few of them to make it in the end. It only makes sense in a case like SISTAR's where they've made enough to pay back all the investments and can now make it out on their own.
4. [+48, -2] No wonde rher styling, hair, and make up have become such a mess ㅠㅠ
5. [+46, -2] Please go spend some money on hiring a stylist... ㅡㅡ
6. [+41, -2] Why do you think Dok2 became rich? ㅋㅋ Because he did everything on his own without an agency ㅋㅋㅋㅋ even made his own fan merchandise and sold it for all the profits on his own ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
7. [+39, -2] She can act like this is working all she wants but she just looks desperate because no agency wants her. Honestly, there's a problem with her driving herself around... a lot of risk of falling asleep at the wheel. Don't be greedy and hire yourself a driver before you get yourself into real deep trouble.
8. [+37, -1] Wait, that first outfit is allowed on public broadcast?
9. [+34, -0] She never would've even made it this far without the training of an agency... why does everyone act as if agencies should be charities?
10. [+31, -1] She needs to take a deep look back during her days with her agency... without them, would a group with iljin rumors and lack of visuals have made it this far? Did they even know how to write their own songs, come up with their own choreography? She thinks she can run her own agency because she can dress herself and drive herself around? ㅋㅋㅋ What a joke
11. [+26, -0] Please get your make up done at a salon... there's a difference between expert skill and yourself...
12. [+24, -2] I don't think she's talented enough to run her own agency. She's just going to end up one of those stars who perform at college events and nothing more. Every comeback is going to flop.
