Pann: The reason iKON isn't doing as well compared to Winner
1. Communication is difficult
With Winner, they had a hiatus that lasted a bit over a year during 'Sentimental' and 'Really Really' as well as iKON during 'WYD' and 'Bling Bling'. During their hiatus, Winner did weekly 'V apps' and communicated with fans on SNS but iKON doesn't have personal SNS and barely streamed V app 15 times. They don't seem to care about holding on to their fans.
2. Their songs are difficult
Winner and iKON shot up with songs that were perfect for everyone like 'Empty' and 'Airplane' before ruining it with 'Bling Bling'. If you look at the lyrics for 'Bling Bling', they sound pretty tryhard, talking as if the company's money is their money. I'll never understand why they were doing so well with production before basically falling over.
3. Everything is BI
BI always starts the songs, he always gets all the parts, he's always the center part. Bobby has parts sprinkled in. The group has 5 vocals and yet their parts don't amount to half of BI's parts. They really only need 2 vocals for how little parts the vocals actually get.
4. No visual member
Boy groups need visuals to bring in the fans and while Winner has Kim Jinwoo, iKON has...? People say it's Goo Jun Hee but be honest with yourself if he's as handsome as a celebrity should be. Don't compare him to random men off the streets.
5. They don't have a variety member
If they don't have a visual member, they should at least have a variety member for the public to get friendly with and gain more popularity. Winner has Song Minho who got Winner some fame with 'New Journey to the West' but iKON? Song Yoon Hyung or someone is on 'Law of the Jungle' but he has no variety skills because he barely says a word.
6. They don't have a distinctive color
If you watch their stages, the members are so busy acting like tryhards, like they're oh so strong, that they don't really have anything that makes them unique. I actually think their B team days fit them better.

Just look at Winner's songs, Kang Seung Yoon gives Kim Jinwoo the killing parts of their songs to have his vocals stand out. BI, on the other hand, takes the whole song for himself... Jung Chanwoo barely had any parts in 'Rhythm Ta'. They could've cut down on some of the rapper lines and given Jung Chanwoo a few more seconds to sing.

When you tell people Winner is 4 members, they get it, but when you tell them iKON has 7, they're like, "Really? They have that many members?" because the center members are so focused around BI and Bobby.

Winner has Kim Jinwoo as their visual and Song Minho who's pretty much doing the best on varieties. iKON... doesn't really have an outstanding visual, maybe Jung Chanwoo...? iKON's boring on varieties, and even begged Daesung to get them screentime on 'Fantastic Duo' only to be told to do their own work ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
