1. [+3,524, -977] Seriously daebak ㅋㅋㅋ I really like the song '23'!!! I want to hear it on broadcast ㅠㅠ hope the album hits daebak~~

2. [+2,371, -763] God Jieun, love all of the songs on the album ㅠㅠㅠㅠ ♥

3. [+2,162, -687] The one and only IU...

4. [+1,999, -587] The song's good but I wish Loen would give FIESTAR some good songs too, I liked them better when they weren't a sexy concept

5. [+527, -217] Honestly, her title track is below expectations... I don't even know what she's mumbling if I'm not reading the lyrics

6. [+374, -95] I feel like people are just hyping it up because everyone else is, but that's the public for you. I've always enjoyed IU's songs but this is just average... Seeing as how she hit it big a while after her debut thanks to the genius marketing of 'Good Day'.. I honestly find it laughable how the public calls her an artist only after she hit it big like that. What were they doing before?

7. [+569, -294] I thought her title track sounded weird when I first heard it but it's getting addictive the more I listen to it. It's daebak, the rest of the songs are good too..

8. [+507, -284] The lyrics to '23' are boom, boom, boom gun shots to all the haters

Article: IU releases '23'... netizens, "Sexy" vs "Can't hear the lyrics"

Source: TV Report via Naver

1. [+762, -215] I didn't like it. The concept wasn't sexy and I can't even hear what she's saying.

2. [+676, -229] Personal preference but this song is her worst yet

3. [+655, -135] I think her lyrics were well written. Netizen diss + the story of an average 23 year old: "I want to quit and go on dates, get a job and make some money / Is the woman smiling to my face still going to be smiling when she turns away / Is it a fox pretending to be a bear or is she really a fox"

4. [+122, -20] It's fine that the song is a message to her antis but I honestly can't hear the lyrics and the lyrics cross the line of being a diss to making her sound cocky. She talks about how people will smile at her no matter what she does and how she's always above others... the song expresses that she has a temper to her. The sad part is that you can't hear any of this because you can barely hear the lyrics.

5. [+113, -16] In IU's eyes, everyone's a fool. Lee Hyori used to be the same and admitted that when she was at the height of her fame with '10 Minute', she thought the world was her own and thought that fame would last forever... IU seems to be stuck in the same mindset, where she's the top and can do anything she wants ㅋㅋ

6. [+106, -23] It's like she's purposely trying to piss us off with her lyrics and the way she's singing them. Can't help but hate her.

7. [+76, -13] Are her fans fools... she says these lyrics to her face saying that she can mess up all she wants and her fans will still smile for her. It's written in plain letters that she thinks of her fans as fools, why would fans still like her?

8. [+71, -18] Her song's basically about "I never wrote one line of a lie".. she asks the listener to guess which one is her real side between wanting to quit, make money, she's content the way she is now, she wants to be in love... but these are all basically things that she wants and has. She's both a fox and a bear and she's trapped between all these anxious versions of herself.. and then the song ends with her being used to all these biases about her and she doesn't care about the hateful comments.

9. [+54, -8] Nevermind the lyrics, the song itself is boring. Obviously she's lining up the charts because she has fans and brand value still going for her. Even the most ridiculous of idol sons will hit #1 if they have fans. This song is too busy targeting her antis that it's not a song that would've done well on its own without her name attached to it. Just a song that fans would've enjoyed on their own.

10. [+54, -18] Well her lyrics were written according to her concept so I don't have any comments on that but the title track is so bad. It doesn't have the impact that 'You and I' had. I liked 'Leon' better too.
