Article goes into why a slew of idols are all making their comebacks in the summer and cites reasons such as their main fanbase, teens-twenties, are on break from school now and can put full effort into streaming music, getting YT views up, SNS hashtags, etc.

One insider said, "Staff even joke around saying they won't release an album during testing season or hold concerts then. Fandoms have gotten younger lately so we have to be more mindful of school breaks." Another said, "We get a lot more fans show up to music shows during school breaks. Sometimes popularity is determined by the number of fans who show up to music shows so summer vacation can be an important time for a group."

Another reason is that most top idols schedule overseas promotions and concerts for the first half of the year and then focus on Korean activities for the second half, which naturally kicks off with a Korean comeback mid-summer.
