1. [+426, -3] Chaebol dramas are so common that a scene with a meeting of stockholders feels as familiar as your local neighborhood meeting ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
2. [+284, -10] So tired of chaebol stories
- It's because the scriptwriters are all women
- Just stick to watching American dramas
3. [+217, -26] And the third drama is about dating ㅡㅡ Why do people find romance so much fun that every drama has to be about romance. The scriptwriters really need some work.
4. [+180, -15] People just watch because it's a drama anyway
5. [+138, -5] I'm also tired of obvious cliches in dramas but I think it's because scriptwriters produce dramas for a specific age group and chaebol dramas happen to work with them. If they're writing for the people who watch TV at the time, then they're going to go with a formula that has proven to work with them. They'd rather get viewer ratings than improve the quality of their work.
6. [+36, -2] Everyone and their moms are chaebols in dramas ㅋㅋ when are they ever going to talk about the common person? No more stories about a commoner marrying a chaebol but a true story about your regular every day person.
7. [+26, -0] American and UK dramas have fun varieties but Korean dramas are all the same;; I honestly find historical dramas the best
8. [+22, -0] It'd be harder to find a drama that doesn't have a chaebol
9. [+21, -3] I find it hard to relate to chaebol dramas because I'm not a part of that bracket myself. Stories about every day people are more appealing..
10. [+15, -1] Korean dramas have a need to learn from American and UK dramas.. there needs to be more variety but everything begins and ends with romance ㅋㅋ
