A female concert goer of MBC's 'Love Challenge' concert asked what they thought made up a beautiful woman and Lee Guk Joo said, "A woman with a beautiful heart. Just because Honey Lee-ssi is this thin and pretty doesn't mean she's always happy. I'm currently happy. Do you see the weight on me? This is happiness."

I'd understand if someone more known for strict personal management and living under a constant diet like Han Go Eun said that after suddenly gaining weight and being fat, then people would try to get rid of their 'looks focused' bias but someone like Lee Guk Joo saying it just makes it seem like she's trying to justify herself being overweight. It just sounds like excuses.
