Two four month-old golden retrievers named 'Dan' and 'Won' were adopted by the high school's psychologist from a local animal hospital to aid in the treatment of the students as a form of pet therapy.

The dogs are able to freely walk around classes and are looked after by the 'Hot Dog' club who feed, walk, and bathe the puppies.

The high school is also working on other efforts to support the students by keeping the 10 sophomore classrooms as is until the grade graduates so that students can go to the classrooms and spend alone time with their passed on classmates and leave little memos whenever they miss them. The classrooms are brimming with memos, bouquets, plant pots, and favorite snacks.

The school also decided to open an in-school floral shop. Students who work in the floral shop handmake the bouquets, a slow process that aids in helping them cope with moving on. With the tragedy's first anniversary coming up, many students have been visiting the memorial park with these bouquets in hand.
