Pann: The legendary anti scandal of girl groups

Baby VOX wasn't as big as FinKL or SES back in the day but they were quite popular and never really had much antis until one scandal catapulted them into anti-dom. During their third album promotions, rumors that member Kan Miyeon was dating HOT member Moon Heejun started spreading.

This led to a series of anti behavior by HOT fans against Kan Miyeon and the rest of the members.

- Kan Miyeon even injured her hand because a fan slipped a razor at a fan meeting, purposely placed so that she'd cut herself when trying to open the letter.

- One fan even sent a bloody letter asking her to go to hell with her.

- One fan dressed up as a staff member and came in with a water gun loaded with soy sauce, vinegar, and red pepper and sprayed it at the group. Yoon Eun Hye injured her eye but continued to perform with an eye mask.

- Shim Eun Jin was sent a dead cat.

- The members were bombarded with rocks and eggs in public places.

- With all of these threats going around, the group could only hold fan signings and fan meetings after all of the fans' bags were checked thoroughly. One fan brought in a Moon Hee Jun poster and yelled/dared Kan Miyeon to sign it in front of her.

- The daughter of Baby VOX's company CEO was bullied at her school.

- When Kan Miyeon went back to her high school to perform at a school festival, her fellow juniors swore and verbally abused her.

- Antis eventually succeeded in influencing the group's disbandment. Shim Eun Jin confessed to being so stressed out over the death threats by the antis, "Baby VOX disbanded because of me. The group naturally disbanded after I left." Kim EZ added, "We didn't feel betrayed by her leaving because we knew she was tired. So many antis and rumors caused so much fatigue."

- Fans would stay silent or put up the finger whenever it was Baby VOX's turn to perform.
