Article: 'Rumors of marriage with Tyler Kwon' Jessica promoted 'BLANC' even during SNSD schedules... all of it was PPL?

1. [+1,841, -331] But as someone who isn't an SNSD fan, even I've noticed that Jessica was never like Sulli who skipped out on music shows, she always attended varieties and other events, and it was quite obvious that she went out of her way to make sure that her business never affected Soshi. SNSD will inevitably end promoting one day as a group so they all have to prepare their individual paths, why should Jessica be expected to go into acting like Yoona and Sooyoung? Why not business? Honestly speaking, Soshi isn't what they used to be... Taetiseo's digital ranking went straight down and Mister Mister's ranking tells all... I understand Jessica's perspective. I don't know how much the other members were affected by Jessica's business but I think the 8 of them need to be more understanding... I just find this situation so funny where they created this image for themselves like they're sisters but they're forcing Jessica to choose between SNSD and her business.

2. [+1,457, -115] Journalist ㅋㅋ What's so wrong with Jessica wearing her own sunglasses at the airport or other events? This is a bit of a stretch...

3. [+1,159, -99] They're just straight up killing her now ㅋ

4. [+82, -7] I'd wear my own sunglasses too ㅎㅎㅎ Nitpicking on her for all the wrong reasons

5. [+69, -11] Wow, is this SM's power?? Wedding rumors have already been denied but articles keep mentioning the wedding and her boyfriend and now there's even an article making her out to look like she's money crazed just for wearing her own sunglasses ㅋㅋㅋ This is scary

6. [+59, -10] Jessica should know better than anyone else that being a celebrity won't last you forever. If her dream was to go into designing, what's it matter to the rest of them if it doesn't affect them in anyway? They should just make the other members choose between SNSD and acting too to be fair.

7. [+45, -10] Who cares if she brought her boyfriend along to her film schedules. She did everything asked of her official schedule wise and never caused a problem. What more do they want from her? The members doing acting and musicals aren't completely focused on Soshi's activities and it's actually the other members like Hyoyeon and Taeyeon who've caused more harm than good. Just because they're losing out on a few CFs and sponsors, they throw her out? ...

8. [+44, -7] I'm not a fan so I don't know the details... but on the outside, it seems like Jessica's done everything asked of her and has never skipped out on a schedule or negatively impacted SNSD in any way.

Article: Jessica, different from the other members who've been 'kicked out'... What's the reason for her systematic way of handling it?

Source: Ilgan Sports via Nate

1. [+669, -203] There are a lot of negative articles on Jessica today ㅋ I personally understand Jessica's perspective. Not that the Soshi members did anything wrong but she's still someone they've spent 15 years with. They could've handled it in a way that kept them remembered as a positive girl group. It's just unfortunate how SM or the members decided to handle it.

2. [+477, -93] Business Generation

3. [+62, -23] The Chinese fan meet yesterday was not just a simple fan meet but a large scale fan meet that continues into January. They performed 10 songs as well with various events. Jessica, however, did not attend rehearsals and tried to arrive the day of with her boyfriend ㅋㅋㅋ How could that not piss off the agency and the members? It's like holding a group presentation and having one member show up without the work and getting a free ride.

4. [+35, -8] How can anyone think Jessica prioritized SNSD first when she arrived the morning of the day they had to leave for China with her boyfriend from New York?? Jessica for acting like the victim... the other members pretending to be sad when they've known all along.. They're all the same. Their fakeness is just being revealed now. How beautiful~

5. [+21, -1] While SNSD is turning into rags and tatters... BLANC is getting some good promotion out of this.

Article: Why did Jessica's 'counterattack' not work?

Source:
Star Today via Nate

1. [+341, -82] I work in the advertising industry... if Jessica never left SNSD while still getting married and running a fashion business, the other SNSD members would be impacted by the CF deals and sponsorships they'd no longer be receiving. Why would anyone want to sponsor a girl group with a married woman who runs her own fashion business? Jessica should've waited until next year if the members agreed to her plans but she didn't so of course the agency and the members would be negatively impacted by it. Purely from an advertiser's perspective, Jessica pulled a psycho stunt.

2. [+353, -97] Jessica said that she'd be leaving the group first at the beginning of the year and everyone agreed to her both getting married and running a business but she's the one who went back on her word. Jessica did not rehearse for their huge fan meet and appeared the day of the event with her boyfriend ㅋㅋ Why wouldn't the members get mad over that?

3. [+293, -70] The point here is that the members already agreed to her leaving the group and getting married as long as she starts her business next year but Jessica launched it in August and brought her boyfriend around everywhere, arriving to fan meets late and such. The 8 members agreed to her plans on the condition that she waits until their promotions are over. Jessica, however, changed her mind after consulting a lawyer. What more do the members need to bend over for her for? I like how Jessica never mentioned in her clarification that she went back on her word after the members already agreed to her plans.
