'Real Men' editing screws both Henry and non-celebrity soldier over
Article: 'Real Men' Henry's math problem scene fake controversy... "Fake Men"

Last week, there was a scene where Henry solved a math problem in 10 seconds and he got praised in the comments for his western upbringing helping him think outside the box as opposed to the Korean soldiers, who tried to solve the problem in one way, like Korean education teaches.
One of the soldiers shared a Facebook conversation with his friend about how the scene was edited and that Henry had not in fact solved it in 10 seconds but had actually written "I don't know" on his answer sheet. Henry did solve it, just not in the time the producers lied about it.
1. [+377, -34] This is obviously not Henry's fault but the producer's to try to get attention tsk tsk
2. [+331, -13] That 10 second edit really made that other soldier who took an hour to solve it feel bad by comparison ㅋㅋㅋ Yeah, the producers really did overexaggerate by saying it only took 10 seconds when a science high school soldier took an hour.
3. [+771, -34] So Henry did solve it quickly, just not in the 10 seconds that the editing made it seem like. The soldier probably got pissed reading comments putting him down as a bad consequence of rote education.
4. [+677, -25] So he was basically pissed that the producers lied about it taking 10 seconds, making him look stupid by comparison.
5. [+526, -56] The producers could've just left the scene with Henry saying he didn't know in.. It would've still been funny. The producers got too greedy.

1. [+8,055, -152] They could've left in his original answer of I don't know ㅋㅋ It would've been funny, why edit it out?
2. [+5,865, -329] I can understand why that non-celebrity is mad. He got made to look like a fool compared to an idol and commenters called him the consequences of rote education ㅋㅋ It's not the first time TV shows have made non-celebrities look like fools for celebrities to shine. This TV appearance is a once in a life time opportunity for him so I'm sure he didn't want to be made into a fool.
3. [+4,732, -202] What we need to realize is that non-celebrities are not celebrities and that comments putting them down hurt them. The producers made a mistake this time.
4. [+3,989, -138] He must've really put his heart into solving that problem
5. [+922, -234] The editing is pathetic but so is that guy for being pissed that he solved the problem first and uploading that on SNS.
