1. [+144, -32] Since when was he the godfather?

2. [+126, -25] When was he the hip hop godfather??

3. [+128, -28] I felt this during Block B's days, but this guy's media play is no joke

4. [+25, -3] I thought he was retiring...

5. [+14, -3] Hip hop's godfather? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ What, really?

6. [+10, -1] I bet my wrist on the best replies being written by teenagers ㅋㅋㅋ Cho PD's songs are timeless~  ♪

7. [+9, -2] The first generation of Korean hip hop was represented by Drunken Tiger, CHo PD, Master Plan, Soul Train, CB Mass, and Honey Family. What's amazing about Cho PD is that while other artists were using foreign samplings, Cho PD made every single one of his beats for his first album. He didn't promote it at all but it was so good that it sold crazily based on word of mouth alone. He was direct with his criticism of society and the album overall was just extremely high quality.

People called Cho PD a prodigy, the second Seo Taiji during those days. The problem was his second album... his rap style was lost and his random Lee Jung Hyun featuring lost his identity. We all knew his beat making skills were at the top but if only he had produced 'Fever' just a bit better, he would've been on Drunken Tiger's level in hip hop today. Ever since, especially with his third album, he hasn't been focusing on what he's good at and just following trends, which is where his downfall was. Disappointing that such a talented MC like him is being lost like this.

8. [+8, -1] I remember back in the day that Cho PD managed to sell all of his tapes through word of mouth popularity alone. Not one promotion about it on TV and yet he still sold the most~ I'm sure anyone born in 1980~1982 will have sang his songs in karaoke. Too bad that we anticipated so much from his second album and he never lived up to it... I hope Cho PD returns to his roots and follows up again.

9. [+8, -2] Nate must have a lot of junior high kids if the best replies don't know crap about Cho PD ㅋㅋㅋ Journalist, pick a new title... Junior high school kids will never know how much of an impact Cho PD had during the peak of his days.

10. [+6, -3] I don't know about the 'godfather' part but he's definitely a figure in Korean hip hop that you can never leave out when you talk about its history

11. [+6, -2] The best replies need to be taken down because they're an embarrassment to all Cho PD represented for Korea's 90s hip hop

12. [+6, -2] So many little kids who don't know anything about Cho PD ㅋㅋ I still can't forget the fresh shock I felt when I first listened to his music... Yeah, you kids will never know.
