[WTF] Man accused of staging a car accident to kill his pregnant wife for insurance money

Article: 'Pregnant woman' death's car accident.. Staged by her husband for insurance money?

Source: No Cut News via Nate

A couple got into a car accident that left his pregnant wife of four months dead. Upon investigation (through blackbox), it was found that the husband had swerved the car into a guardrail for no reason while going down a straight path, causing his pregnant wife to be thrown out of the car before eventually dying.

The blackbox also showed that while the wife was screaming in the middle of the swerve, the husband was unusually calm and quiet.

Police think that the fact that he sold his foreign car two months before to buy a used car before the accident occurred is suspicion enough for a staged murder for insurance money. The husband is currently eligible for hundreds of thousands in insurance.

The husband claimed that he swerved because he felt the back of the car begin to lift up.

1. [+365, -57] Even if what he claims is true, he's a complete ba$tard for swerving into the direction of his wife.

2. [+256, -29] What a complete ba$tard, to think that his mother gave birth to him and ate seaweed soup to celebrate his birth... What a complete fu*ker!!! His intent is so obvious... How could he stay calm when his wife was screaming for her life? Just go die..!!

3. [+220, -14] The investigations should definitely look into the matter further. It's suspicious how he traded his foreign car for a used car.. how he stayed quiet while his wife was screaming.. how he excuses himself saying he swerved because he felt the back of the car raising.. I pray she rests in peace.

4. [+40, -3] Even if this entire thing wasn't staged, how suspicious is it that the entire time his wife was screaming, he didn't even make a sound?? Not even a whoa~? How could he do that to his wife? To his child?

5. [+33, -1] How could someone hate someone bearing his own child to this point... How could someone choose money over their own blood? I hope that he suffers for the rest of his life..

  4. NO. It's THE LOVE of money that is the root of all evil. Money doesn't do anything to you until you crave so much of it that you'll kill anyone to have it.

  5. The car selling part is questionable but the calm part to me is not....Not too long ago my friend and i went on a road trip and i was the one driving (at night) and suddenly some car came swerving from side to side and speeding right in front of our car (on the freeway with a speed limit on 70) my friend was screaming like crazy and i was just calm and didn't even say a word while trying to swerve and avoid the car......People react differently during an accident just cos one is screaming doesn't mean the person driving should, it's best to stay calm.....

    Just Saying....

  6. precisely, people always get this part wrong. One key word changes the entire meaning!

  7. Based on the given facts, this is SUSPICIOUS but certainly not conclusive that he murdered his wife. Hopefully he isn't railroaded because the insurance company doesn't want to pay out.

If he did do this, well let's all pray there is an afterlife and he rots for eternity in the darkest depths of it.

  14. Very true. Suspicious but all circumstantial evidence. No way to prove that he did that on purpose...he can always just say "Hey i'm a shitty driver and that why they call it a car ACCIDENT".

If it was simply a tragedy, he deserves the money. I know insurance companies and often, they create smear campaigns to avoid pay outs.

  15. He killed two lives. His wife, and the children inside his wife. I hope he gets the punishment for killing two innocent lives.

  17. wow. I don't even know what to say. This is so sick on so many levels.
If this ends up being true, I hope he gets what he deserves. How can you even call yourself a human being after this? Like doesn't he have a conscious ...I don't even...

  20. If he really was intent on having his wife and unborn child killed, then he should be given the fucking death penalty or a life sentence with zero chance of parole and if anyone opposes that then they can join him too.

  21. Actually after we got past it I was laughing at my friend lol.......and was very glad she wasn't the one driving cos i'm sure we would have crashed into the car and the other cars behind us would have crashed into us and there would be a whole mess lol.......

  25. I was thinking the same thin when i read the article. I had a similar situation as yours happen to me but I wa in the car by myself. I swerved to avoid a car that was going into my lane & almost flipped my car into the forest side. Throughout the whole event was just took a breath in & didn't say a word or do anything. After the ordeal, thinking back, I was quite shock how calm I was. I think that's how you should be in situations like that. It's like an instinct, really. The thing I don't get is.. What does he mean by he felt the back of the car "lifting." Lifting fom what?
