Two articles that have been in the rankings for a while but barely have any comments... I was looking forward to the comments as well so I'm posting them up anyway.

Article: Do girl groups do better after switching out members?
Source: Sports Seoul via Nate
1. [+14, -2] I think After School takes it to too far of a level. I'm not against the admissions/graduation concept but I feel that a few of the members take the group's popularity for granted. They were great up to Shampoo, but after Kahi left and Gaeun came in, I don't get the group anymore... They should cut down on the members and just go head on from there. As for the Wonder Girls, they really had no choice with the member changes whereas KARA definitely did better after the changes
2. [+12, -1] Wonder Girls got a lot of hate during their debut for the 'crazy scandal' where as School and T-Trash are regarded as a mess because they haven't been able to harmonize their members well enough. As for KARA, Kim Sunghee was a great singer but the group didn't have any member popular enough to pull the group which is what led to their downfall and Nine Muses is regarded as a mess as well for the 'model idols' title without any vocal talents.
3. [+12, -2] KARA was the only group with a positive member change. Despite having a talented member like Sunghee, they weren't able to get popular and nearly disbanded before Jiyoung and Hara came in and picked things up. They're now a Hallyu girl group top.
4. [+12, -3] T-ara's change was a failure
5. [+13, -5] I see a group that will never be able to recover themselves unless they get rid of all of the members and change the group name completely
6. [+8, -2] The Wonder Girls had no choice in their member changes, so aside from them, most of the member changes only did enough for a moment of spotlight, nothing more, nothing less. If they had hit daebak like SNSD, would they have changed members? Most of the popular groups now have maintained their members all this time like SISTAR, SECRET, 4minute, miss A, A Pink, etc... I think it's only the unpopular groups that resort to member changes.
