[Hot Request] Epik High's comeback

I've been getting non-stop requests for Epik High's comeback, something like 16 or 20 over the past few days. They haven't been up in the rankings so I had to dig really hard for a few articles that did have comments. It isn't much, but maybe they'll get up there later.

Article: Epik High is 'UP' just like the title, 'comeback in 3 years'

1. [+26, -5] I hope they can spread their wings far and wide now that the people that have been harrassing them are locked away

2. [+19, -5] There are a lot of fans that are disappointed with this album... I, as well, was a bit taken aback when I first listened to it because their tone and style had changed so much since their last album. Especially the way electronica styles were melted in so naturally, you couldn't help but think that this was a YG produced album through and through.

But of course, this style of music is dominating the current music market, and Epik High has always been known for experimenting with different styles, so I'm sure they didn't want to come out after 3 long years with an image of hardship and pain. This album almost seems to shout to us, "We're okay! Let's have fun, so you have fun too!"

From the perspective of their fans, I can see why they think YG is stealing the originality of Epik High... but let's just be happy that they've returned. You can read the lyrics and see that their color is still strongly present in their songs (and it's not like Epik High can change THAT easily)...

Even if we are disappointed after waiting for such a long time, let's not hate just like their title track "Don't Hate Me" says and just welcome their return.
