Viewers were apparently flooding the Chungdamdong Alice message board leaving comments about how Moon Geun Young's face looks swollen, got bigger, has changed, etc. Her agency explained that her face might look bigger on screen because of the camera angle and that Moon Geun Young hates going to the hospital too much to even consider plastic surgery.

ReplyDeleteHer face does look considerably bigger and swollen, though it shouldn't be THAT big of a deal. Sometimes, food and other factors make a face look swollen so plastic surgery is a bit of a stretch.
ReplyDeleteWhat I'd like to know is why certain facial features are considered "countrified"? Like a large face, a wider/flat nose, etc. all seem to be markers to attribute to social class, background, wealth or something?

And i appreciate her choice to not go under the knife to get pretty look like other actresses though a prettier face will do help her career.
